@@sweetprincess8234 I am really sorry for your loss and I do agree that most of them are in the business just for money but still there are people who really care or used to care but you know in this field you come across lots of people, many of them cure but many die too, if they would make an emotional bond with everyone then there is no way that they are not going to get traumatized and depressed and in private hospitals specially doctors and so vulnerable to get kicked out if they don't follow the procedure even if they don't want to that they can't do anything but not take action before money.
I am really sorry for your loss and no one can change it now and you surely have right to show your anger towards the people you consider could have but didn't save you mom but I hope you recollect yourself and I am saying this on my own experience of losing people one after another and then seeing my family going into crises both economically and emotionally and I am sure I am way younger than you and I know how much it hurt but you gotta get over it now or in the near future.
Edit: I discussed about this with some elders and pointed some more points about private hospitals specially as I said they are so vulnerable to get kicked out that they must follow what they are said to follow by the owner or the team which is to earn from everyone stepping in the hospital so they just never let their patients know that they are cured or they don't need medication anymore just to earn from them, they even make up diseases like they would make you believe that you have many more problems and only they can cure you or you would die.

I know this may sound as cold comfort but God truly takes those who have wonderful spirits (it doesn't mean they are perfect) but they either did all they could while alive or b) they had too much goodness in them to withstand what's coming.
I'm not African but they do have a saying for the departed: they came, they saw, they did. (And that is how we can & should remember them)
Please, don't think that God will abandon you, when you need to help in healing others, he will always be right there with you as you serve others through your profession. Thank you for your service 😊

My heart dropped. Turns out he was asking isn't he gone home, because he had been in the hospital for months. I immediately went to check up on him after and he was still there, I think i was overly excited to see him, he must have noticed. One day I actually found him discharged a while after I was in another rotation. I hope he's fine where ever he is now.

I went into a unresponsive coma for 3 days after giving birth followed by 7 blood transfusions. After my then husband signed the papers and left (long story), I remember hearing my doctor crying while sitting there unplugging all the machines one by one. The last thing he took off was my IV and it hurt me and I cried out and woke up. He looked at me in shock and started laughing. The first thing he said was: "You were really serious about not giving fake milk to your child!" And then we laughed together. He hugged me and left. At the time, my son was given milk from breastfeeding mothers from La Leche League and a volunteer came to rock him 3 times a day. I had discussed this with the league while I was pregnant and also in the contract at length with my birthing doctor, which was why he made that comment. I only realized after, when the nurse came in and I recognized her voice (she explained that she came every 5 minutes to check things over and was telling me everything she was doing), that I had heard my husband saying he didn't need me anymore and to call him when he could pick up his son. If I didn't know before, I knew then that I had married a monster and it didn't stop there.

@@kukubaby6352 Yes, you need money to survive and I do respect the medical professional for all their care and help given in the time of need. But was this the case in the past. Of course not. When people created a demand for something, people started asking for cash and there were people willing to give it as donations or bribe or whatever fancy name you want to refer to, so as to increase their status in the society. Are you telling me that all doctors are capable of treating their patients as they should be treated? It is a definite no, as some have no clue. We can understand it from the way they handle their patients. Then you will have to give an explanation as to why many patients are increasing despite the fact that there are the so called professional called doctors and huge number of hospitals as compared to the past with the latest technology availability. Doctors should be able to cure the illness. Instead, they are making their patients more addicted to drugs and making them patients for life. So what is the use of them in this world? In order to be a doctor, people who are ineligible but have money are studying that profession instead of allowing the ones that have the ability to be a doctor. So I am sorry, I can't agree with you that doctors are good. Of course, I know that not all are bad and I am not referring to them at all. But the majority is in the bad bracket. Look at the recent talk that B. Ganesh Kumar pointed out in the parliament. Then you will understand what I mean.

My aunt is a nurse. When she was a student..a case came. A 2yr old kid with severe burns. The mother of the child was a teacher so they usually had a hurry morning routine..she used to boil water to prepare warm water for the child to bath. One day she poured the boiling water to a bucket but suddenly a call came so the mother went to attend it. The baby was standing in the bathroom..the baby tried to play with the water but bymistake the bucket fell on the child and the boiling water spilled on the kid's body. There was no one other than the mother and child..the father was working outside the country. The mom rushed the child to hospital so my aunt and her friends were nursing students so they took care of the case. The child had severe burns and blisters all over body..when the baby's father came he got mad and started yellin at the mom at hospital for being too careless with the small kid. The child but survived it..the child was very playful and cute. The burns started to heal but one morning when my aunt came to the hospital...the baby passed away. The baby got some kind of blood infection. When something happens to our skin then our body is vulnerable to diseases and infections especially it was a child too. My aunt still can't believe the child's death..she still remembers the image of the kid. The father of the child left the mother and she got mentally ill after the kid's death. This happened like 20 years ago. I want to be a surgeon in future but thinkin bout this all brings me lot of pain but ig bein a doctor or nurse means havin the mental capability to face it all and moving forward🦋🤍

My sister just recently became a nurse. She worked in ICU for 2 months in a private hospital and was horrified that soon after one of her patients died, doctors casually went on to eat their lunch. She was in charge of him and was optimistic about his recovery but she went on a short break while other nurse took the charge and when she came back she saw him fighting death and doctors trying to save him. She was very sad for many days afterwards.

So what do u expect the doctors to do after every patient dies ? Starve for a day ? In this field life and death are a regular thing and u NEED to learn to harden ur heart if u don't want to be an emotional wreck every time. Unlike the nurses, the doctors hav to do the real grind work.
