Touhou 10 - Tomorrow will be Special Yesterday was Not // Harpsichord

♫ Welcome back everyone to some more harpsichord videos. I have recorded a few and will be uploading those over the course of upcoming weeks. For this arrangement I decided to use the lute register my harpsichord has to make the thing sound more muffled. Perhaps yall could suggest me some songs to play on the harpsichord. I want to make many more videos with it. Lemme know what you think! :)

I've been very sick lately so I need some time to recover. Some kind of flu or whatever has hit me at the perfect time, I hope this goes away soon before summer vacation. This has made me very tired and unable to edit videos due to headaches and fatigue. I got lots of things planned that will come though hopefully so I'll just wait it out.

Nope, there really was a clear transition to Gensokyo, Past and Present. It's always really sick to transition to in a song since it's got a distinctive opener and can work well coming out of silence.

I am Japanese, and in Japan, there is a string instrument called the "koto." It is different from the harpsichord and has a Japanese-style sound. I feel a sense of sympathy towards it.

Since you asked in desc. I'd like to see alice in wonderland/broken moon in a harpsichord because of the oriental style they have.
Btw, can you tune a harpsichord without tecnical assistance? I don't know how it works exactly but because it's only strings I think it can be tuned like a guitar. Also, where exactly did you get yours?

Yeah you have to tune them yourself. They detune waay quicker than a piano since the strings are plucked instead of hit with hammers. It has about 52 keys and I have to tune every individual string with a tuning hammer thing. It takes quite long but you have to do it about every month or so. The lower keys detune much quicker too than the higher ones making it go weirdly out of balance if you don't. I got mine 2nd hand from some old lady in Amsterdam who had it standing in the way
