CJ, if you ever go back to this Thrift Giant in Colony TX, and by a slim chance the pink bead/gemstone necklace with the shell clasp is still there, please pick it up!! I would love to have it ❤️. Hi there my name is gilly mayes living in North Norfolk england... sometimes I hear you say what's that.., the China Portmerion...was designed and made by Susan Ellis Smith and is much loved and collected ..I think her heyday was 70.s/80/s...also i heard you mention CathKidson..this is a designer who started producing vintage prints into bags aprons.. now made by much larger company.....and lots of other products..not much else known

I’d like to take something ……but the mail and the customs prices from USA to Europe are very high ….to the point that even the most intelligent purchase become economically unjustified ….absolutely exaggerated ….if we try to make a comparison with our prices for second hand items ….I hope to come to USA one day and enter in one of that shops in which you find so many treasures !!!

Hello, I think it was when you were at one of the big thrift store with a lady with you and you were looking at all of the jewelry in the show case with all of the brooches, bracelets, and necklaces.
The St John bracelet was a tortoise shell.

I think those beads were Angel skin beads. It had a pretty clasp, but no price.
I really liked the shell necklace, too! Yo said it wasn’t for sale because it had optics. Why did they display it??
Oops, I hate auto-correct! I meant to say “why did they display it if it wasn’t for sale?” Maybe the price fell off? Those dot stickers sometimes don’t stick to certain materials. I would have bid on it!!
If price falls off, they say a manager has to reprice it in the back.
