    Hey brother, I just started assembling and really enjoyed this video. I like how you don't waste time. As soon as you pull a part out of the box, you're using it. Highly efficient bro. Thanks.
    Hope you have more videos like this... grills, log splitters, mowers, picnic tables, and more LOL.

    I noticed that some of the legs twist when I tighten them. It doesn't matter if I put them on the right or left side. Just wondering if you noticed the same, and have you found a way to minimize it?

    How about when bolts break off cuz that happen to me when I did couple blue one.

      Just gotta take it apart, remove the broken bolt, and grab a replacement from Hardware... it sucks but it happens.
      I once had it happen on 4 wheelbarrows in a row, one even had 3 bolts break, and it took me two hours to finish the pallet... cold weather really wreaks havoc on that steel.
      But yeah... just gotta take it apart, get it outta there, and put a new one in. Pain in the ass but we can't allow broken wheelbarrows hit the sales floor. It's a safety hazard first of all, and second we don't want that reputation among the customers... one guy will tell his friends who will tell their friends who will tell their friends... next thing you know there's a drop in wheelbarrows sales because word went around a neighborhood that the things fall apart...

      The 5/16" carriage bolts & hex bolts in the Hardware department have the same size threading. There are no small carriage bolts without the little square catch at the head so I use the 3/4" or 1" long 5/16" hex bolts with 1/4" washers if I need to replace the smaller bolts. I write down the SKUs and quantities and give them to the manager when I get signed off.

      I have had that happen a few times with an 18V impact driver, Just take it easy on the torque and as Ben said in the video, listen to the drill. The sound it makes will tell you when you have hit the torque required.

    Do you have to use those nylon washers that hold bolts in the tub when you assemble it?

    • @BenTheBuilder
      @BenTheBuilder  Před 3 lety

      Their only purpose is to hold the bolts in place while you assemble the wheelbarrow. They have no purpose besides that. I don't use them on the blue wheelbarrows. I just rely on the friction between the bolts and the shims & handles to hold them in place. I do, however, use them on the plastic yellow wheelbarrows.

      @@BenTheBuilder Thanks I just bought a Jackson wheelbarrow I decided to do it myself it seems that the one's I look at that are assembled in the store the pan bolts are not pulled completely down are they have to much play on the wheel axle brackets with slop in wheel.

      That's shoddy assembly work. Probably a new guy who hasn't been shown the significance of tightening everything up. Sorry about that. They are fairly simple to assemble at home. Just need a 13mm deep socket.
