In the U.S., police are upping their presence, arresting protesters and dismantling encampments as House Speaker Mike Johnson calls on President Biden to send in the National Guard. Neetu Garcha has the latest on the ever-expanding campus protests in tonight’s top story.
Up north, Canadian consumers fed up with the high cost of groceries are gearing up to send a message with their wallets. A planned boycott of Loblaw and its affiliated stores is gaining traction, while a petition calling for an investigation into the company for alleged profiteering is nearing 100,000 signatures. Abigail Bimman reports on the frustration and the planned action.

In this manner resentment of gentiles directed at this tribe for an _exclusive_ award is defused by exploiting a natural desire for immortality. Jesus disciples admonish gentiles not to hoard riches, but to return these gifts to their maker (through themselves), placing faith in this even _greater_ prize, which is an afterlife for all of eternity-for which the evidence is absent and impossible to verify.

People need to understand, most of the inflation is due to irresponsible government spending. For sure, oligopolies has an effect as well. But, year after year of reckless spending and bad fiscal and monetary policy is mostly to blame. But, politicians know that if they dish out tons of cash, we all take the bait, and re-elect them, not realizing the effects on inflation. They know, as a population, we'll take the short term gain, despite the long term pain that arises afterwards. The politicians also know that we'll direct our anger at the wrong people. So, they laugh at us and the grocery stores while they put up this facade of scolding them and use them as scapegoats.
