She's been one of my heroes for ages now. Every Kate episode, even the ones, *especially* the ones where she's made the smart but unwise choice and ends up toe-to-toe with the Doctor and becomes a better leader for it, is a good episode for me. She's up there with Dr. Scully and Dr. Brennan and Wasp for me.
