Inmates at Edna Mahan Correction Facility for women talk about how the music therapy program they participate in has affected their lives. For more, visit www.NewsWorks.org. Video by Kimberly Paynter.
I am a senior in high school with a plan to go to college to become a music therapist. Not only did this video confirm that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life, but seeing the way these women opened up when music was factored in, its mind blowing. It encourages me so much to see all the possibilities for good in this broken world. All the possibilities to change each other’s lives in such a strong way. Thank you for this video
