- This beautiful, life sized replica of the creepy Borg Queen Skull is now available from Factory Entertainment. It's super heavy, lights up and will freak you out at night!
You can really tell FE put a lot of love into this. I wonder if the paint chipping and the exposed wires/board for the lights were a design oversight because everything else is impressively done. Either way thank you for showing this! $1500 is too rich for my blood but it’s always nice to appreciate a good Star Trek prop.
Thank you! Yeah the chipping paint doesn't really bother me. I think it actually adds to the look of the weathering. It would be easy enough to touch up the paint if necessary. That wire showing isn't that obvious either since it's in the dark part of the skull but could be covered up as well.
Thank you for sharing it. I am one of those hard-core star trek fans that wouldn't shell out 1500$ for this. I appreciate being able to see it anyway!
Thank you for supporting this, I’m glad you like it.
I love it! It's a stunning beauty! 😁
I know absolutely nothing about star treak But that's cool, for those who r a fan of the franchise it's for sure a collectable
Hi Brix Fan!! Yes, this is a super awesome piece! I'll be paying for it for the rest of my life, but it's an awesome piece! 🤣😆
My absolute favorite from the Star Trek movies.
I design stuff for my 3D printing business. I just might try to make something like this.
I'm sure there's got to be some files out there for it.
LMFAO! The Borg Comes with a Manual! XD
very cool
Use a hair dryer to warm the sticker and it will usually come off much easier and leave less residue.
I just used Goo Gone and it came right off thank goodness! 😁
Amazing, Roy! Very good purchase! 💀☠️
Thank you! I love this creepy thing! As long as it doesn't move by itself, I'm good! 🤣😄
@@outsider238 You'll be fine! ☠️😆👍🏼
@@Excalibur2112 😄😁😆
This is wicked. I understand the companies being afraid to take risks though, phasers and stuff probably sell really well, but taking the chance is appreciated! I wish we could see more furniture as well, I would kill for an affordable replica of Worf's chair.
Oh man! I love Worf's chair! That is one distinctive piece of furniture!
@@outsider238 I found the company that made it, but obviously discontinued, and those that exist are so expensive.
@@StalwartSpaghetti I think it was pretty expensive when they were still being made. I had considered getting one but I didn't have the room.
Thanks, mine should arrive tomorrow.
I hope you like it. I really like mine. Let me know if you have the chipping paint issue with the tubes like I did.
Well the hoses on mine flake too but that’s ok. It’s the nature of the plastic and it adds to the weathering I think. I very also agree with you that we should applaud any company making Trek props that aren’t the standard fair. Give me more I say!
@@antimatterguy Ah, thank you for the follow-up! Yeah the hoses don't really bother me that much. We could always touch them up with paint if needed. I'm glad you agree about these companies branching out with awesome pieces like this. I'm very happy with this and love it the more I look at it!
Yeah… FE is pricey far as it’s props! My Girlfriend bought me The Green Hornet 🐝 gas gun… and I got The Hornet Sting. Sticker shock! And that was 7 yrs ago!
I must say I really like the quality of their props!
The paint should have not have shipped off the model at the price you paid
Yeah that is a bummer. It is difficult to paint that flexible pipe because the flexibility of it allows for cracking and chipping. I wonder if they would have applied a primer if it would have helped.
a shame of that paint flaking though
Yeah that was definitely my only gripe on this. But the piece itself is incredible! 😁
make it better
It's pretty good already. Heavy too! 😁
