Have been a G85 user for 5 years. The auto focus for me is not a big deal as I mostly use manual focus, love the "IBIS" built in the camera, and what I love about Panasonic is the consistent firmware updates and how they continually support their older cameras even the G85 which is probably 6 or 7 years old now since it's first release! My G85 just keeps getting better even the auto focus with every new firmware update!

Great camera, I use it since March 2017 and one month ago I bought Fuji X100V
In my opinion it's nearly perfect, only flaws are minor ones such as lack of USB charging, quality of internal microphone and lack of auto-iso profiles to set something like use time from 1/200s up and iso up to 1600 (for shooting people in low light) or time down to 1/5s which can be hand held (itseems that autoiso always uses 1/60s with aperture priority). Lenses I use are 12-60 kit lens, 45-150 telezoom, Olympus 45/f1.8 and Panasonic 20mm/f1.7
I bougth Fuji as another Panasonic GF1+20mm/f1.7 upgrade - to have somewhat pocketable camera, to have something for social events and to have camera that I can carry everywhere. G80 is great, but it's not something I want to carry every day and despite it's a great tool, it's not much fun to carry it and use it. I think I'm more creative with fixed lens as well.

I own even two G85s. Bought the second one used for just 300 Euros. It's good for stills AND video. The 4K cropfactor is very moderate, nice stabilisation, microphone input, small, light, weathersealed ==> big value for money! LOVE this camera and its compact sister GX85. I'm strongly considering this camera as my next upgrade because of the IBIS, weatherproofing, the mic input and the price:performance ratio, as well as I like the colours it produces in video. I've seen reviews where people say the autofocus isn't very good but I can't tell if they are just Sony addicts who want to change the point of focus every 0.5 seconds or they're legit. Please let me know what you think of the autofocus of this camera, especially when filming video and 4k video.

I would say MFT are ok at low light. They are not at night.
I generally shoot at dawn; and also way before the sun rises above the horizon. I have set the upper ISO limit of my camera (a G9) to 1600 ISO. Its fine like that.
The only real issue at low light is on moving subjects because you quickly get motion blur. But with a fast lens even that is somewhat manageable..
At night the story is different. Generally there is too much noise.
