Hi everyone, in this video I will show the making of this thread painting embroidery from start to end. This is not a tutorial. Because the working hour is way too long, can’t show all the details.
This piece is about the light and grass, there are many layers on the grass to show the shadows and lights. It took me a bit more than 2 weeks to finish, using DMC no. 25, size 9 needle and cotton linen.
It’s a personal collection and not for sale.

I use cotton linen. The kind for making clothes. Yes, I do look at a picture when I stitch. I need to check the colors as reference.

Thank you, an easier way would be just print out the picture, and use carbon paper to trace all the details you can see.
