Honestly, this feature makes sense, I just wish they'd add an indication or something if your project gets marked NFE. Having to rely on community made tools to determine if you're project is working as expected doesn't really make much sense at all.
Guess it could be a way for Scratch to mark something as inappropriate without having to directly respond (a project I made a while back complaining about the Scratch Team got marked NFE), but even then it's messed up, especially for a children's website, not to tell them what they did wrong.
But you can't post thing inappropriate to scratch

*SCRATCH LOGIC*
Another reason you can't search your project is the indexer is glitched, due to a bug, projects now might take a few months to be possible to be searched. (not sure if its fixed yet)
Was fixed a while back. Projects get indexed within 12 hours.
@@Chrome_Catmy scratch project is 2 months old and if u search the name of it it doesn’t appear you can only find it by searching up my username and clicking on my project from there

1:15 the checker only works if it has at least one remix as it uses the remix tree api
I remember a day i made a WHOLE ai like thing on scratch, and it got NFE even if the other one which has another eye color is FE, and a few days later all my projects were changed to NFE 😢😢

Don't worry, I have 47 projects but only one project it's rated FE and all of the other is not rated
I'm sad because I made a project called boy potatoS a mr tomatoS fan game and it was being shown to other people then just stopped after I added a little bit of blood. like 3% of the game and its lore has blood. I worked really hard on it, and I'm young so it took longer than if an adult did it with coding experience. it was also my very first game that I put a lot of time and thought into.

Edit:also i think the reason the remaster was rated nfe because theres a report option called "exact copy of another project" or whatever it is and the remaster has the same feature as the orginal so it counts as an exact copy of another project

@@McVincient you may put some changes, but its not a lot, so, yeah, yk, you put it at parts no one would watch or false reporting.

My project appears by its old name on scratch (since i chnaged it). Maybe it still hasnt updated?

Wow, I think my project, “Battle For Arcade S2 E1” got rated NFE because if I search the exact name it doesn’t show up
But I don’t know why it got NFE though I mean there was a character in it named Water Gun but otherwise it’s so weird why not, if you have the extension can you check it if that’s ok since I don’t have the extension

Did you ever rename the project? If so, there's a bug that causes renamed projects to not show up.

@@McVincient It's allowed, but not encouraged. I read a thread on it a while back, it's intentional that it's not blocked in the filter, but it'd make sense why they wouldn't want that on the front page of their website 🫠

I searched my Scratch username and clicked on one of my projects (because I saw a project that was not mine). Then, I copied the name of the project and searched it. If I saw it, that meant that project is FE!

I think I know how to get around this:
You will need to download the project you want to share (don’t share it yet)
Create a basic project that is child friendly and Scratch might detect it as an FE (for everyone) project
When that’s done you can share the FE project.
After you shared the FE project, replace it with the project you want to share
I haven’t tested this yet, but i think it would work (if anyone is seeing this, try this and use the _Scratch Tools_ extension to check if it was still FE or it was changed to NFE (not for everyone))
The views will be gone

scratch's project review status is like roblox determining your game should be public or not.
Roblox: Pending, Rejected, Approved
Scratch: Unreviewed, NFE, FE
I just checked the scratchtube remastered project, and there's a reason it's rated nfe, it has lmao in it(laughing my @$$ off)

you need to either wait for the review or get someone to make a remix of your project because the scratchtools NFE/FE feature requires the remix API
