Overrall Houphouet was a very good president and person . He was also religious ,when he was almost eighty in 80's ,seiing death coming he started building more Church to ask for forgiveness to God : Basilique Notre Dame , la Cathedrale notre dame .He was very Wealthy ,powerfull and respected but he knew he couldn't escape death and as he was practicing catholic he started building church during the last 20 years of his life. So all these church was a way of asking God Forgiveness .
