- This came waay too LATE for Freestyle music. I don't know if I was just getting old, but this is one of the only FEW true freestyle songs I remember in the late 90s! And this one is awesome!
Update: Josette first recorded this (according to Wiki), but it just doesn't have the "polished recording" that Rockell's version has. In my opinion, Josette's version sounds VERY "amateur", doesn't sound very professionally done, and the synths used sound like cheap synthesizers. It also sounds more like a demo recording. - Hudba

i was in the 10th grade when this song came out. I had a major crush on one of my classmates. I remember listing to this song everynight before bed on Power 106. I used to lay in bed and think of her all night long. I couldnt wait until school the next morning. I literally would imagine us married with a family. She was my entire motivation for even going to school that year. The good old days when music meant something and it was perfectly ok to show how you cared for someone , no matter how macho you thought you were.

I remember the very first time I ever heard this in spring of 98 I thought it was a throwback from the late 80s-early 90s era of freestyle. I was surprised when I realized it was a new song but I loved it especially since it made me nostalgic for the freestyle I remember being popular when i was a little kid.
