I go to uni in 4 years and I’m saving my money. (I have £5 on Monday for snacks at break/recess and on Sunday I get £5 so that’s like £10 per week. That’s £560 per year...that’s should be enough)

Hope that you have an awesome freshman year of college! I’ll be a sophomore in college, so I definitely know what you’re going through. Here’s a few tips for you:
1) If you haven’t already, wait to buy your groceries the day that you move in. You won’t have to pack any food and it will all be fresh if you wait until after you move in.
2) Write down on sticky notes what’s in each of your bins (example: bedding, bathroom, supplies, etc). Also, put your name and dorm name just in case someone else might have the same storage bins as you. This helps when you move in if you’re trying to look for a particular item and don’t want to go through each bin looking for one thing.
3) Before classes start, go around your campus (along with some people that you meet) and look for your classes. This saves a lot of time looking for them on the first day of classes.
4) Don’t buy textbooks until your professor tells you that you will need it or will use it. Textbooks are expensive and sometimes you don’t even need them for certain classes.
5) Get to know your professor. After the first day of classes, go up to them and introduce yourself. This shows that you care and they could even help you out through the course of the semester.

honestly, I can relate so much with shopping... i’m not exactly sure why but I get anxiety when I go out alone to stores, but to buy almost anything.. like even going to the grocery store to pick up some tampons is overwhelming because of all the options. even though I buy the same one everytime, it messes with me.. i’m weird.

hi youre adorable! im a junior in college and i know it sounds extra but when shopping for bedding I recommend a mattress protector (because u dont know what the people who lived there before u did -gross- and it covers the mattress that the school provides for u) a mattress topper (which is the comfy memory foam thing) and a mattress pad is also necessary because it zips everything together so your mattress topper doesnt keep sliding off your bed, hope this helped :)
