I still have to test it out for noise floor and overall sound quality and functionality.

Ok! I am looking forward for the review!
Nice anodized aluminum knobs. I like that the Volume is red as well as the largest.
I noticed that most of the components of that region are at most 5.1, with a rare 7.1 on occasion. I guess that fits best with the stand alone decoders for sale on a certain website.
Would it happen to be a company that has never sent me anything and is bad at responding to my emails? 😁 I actually think their products are good, but I wouldn't know from personal experience. Are you referring to Emotiva? 😁
@@joentell No, a discount website known for low prices and other "low" things with the initials A.E.
@@TheTrueVoiceOfReason yeah, I guess I really don't know 😁. Even with your hints

Waiting for the review on how 5.1 dts dolby atmos from pc would sound
Waiting for when SMSL or Topping to make their version of it
Thanks, I bought the monoprice 5.1 but didn't know I needed an amplifier too. I couldn't find one with the 5.1 channel input. This will work great. I ordered it.
Let us know how this does powering your monolith 5.1 system. Class D amplification has enabled a ton of compact configurations.
oh, thats interesting because I always use analog 7.1 "Multi-channel" connections coming out of my Sound Card to the two Amplifiers (One is the Onkyo AVR which has Multi-Channel inputs and the other is a vintage Victor amp & equalizer)... I am intrigued by the Passive Subwoofer input & the dedicated volume in this I am looking forward to the reviews of this...
Gr8 job did watts each channel
Very interesting
The same as the AIYIMA A09 not sure who's imitation
AIYIMA has better components
Efficiency of class D compared to class AB is crazy...they have less heat produced too with less power consuem...this is the future
No está tan avanzada en calidad, para audio profesional no, pero para potencia es una belleza
How do i connect this to a pc with onbaord motherboard audio
But how does it sound?
Joe, you have any budget stereo amp with a highpass filter that you could recommend? Its darn hard to find an amp with it, and its a pretty important feature to me.
That's tough. I don't know of any
What is the price
Why would they not include HDMI ARC?
Probably the same reason the optical jack is stereo only and the only way to get surround is through the 6 RCA jacks. It's not a true surround system it's literally three separate stereos in one box. That and HDMI requires licensing which isn't cheap.
@@xXRenaxChanXx optical is stereo only? you sure ?
Class D. Mostly reserved for subs, No?
No remote?? I dont get it if it doesnt have that function.
I get you. Maybe it's for use at a desk or maybe they expect the source to act as the volume control? I haven't tried it yet.
this looks like it would pair well with a Shiit Syn, which I'm pretty sure has a remote. The Syn would act as the source and this would work to provide the amplification to your speakers.
@@godofchucky makes sense to me!
@@joentellhurry up and do a full review!
Amazon description says 5.1 won't work with optical input, am I reading this right?
"Warm tips: 5.1 channel speaker output can only be achieved when input corresponding 5.1 channel RCA signal. In Bluetooth/ USB/ Coaxial/ Optical/ 2.0 channel RCA input mode, there will be only 2.0 and 2.1 channel output."
If I hook up my TV with an optical cable, it won't play 5.1 out?
I don't think it will decode the 5.1 from the optical, unfortunately. I have yet to test that.
You will need a 5.1 decoder which will pass 5.1 input into the amp. You

That thing looks kinda cool. I'm thinking I could find a use case for it!
Maybe pair it with that HDMI audio extractor and the Monolith THX 5.1
@@joentell Must be reading my mind lol. I need more speakers 😂
@@joentellhi, where's the review for this? I was looking forward to it and since it reappeared on amazon I want to make an informed decision.
@@David-qp9bq I haven't had time to review it yet. That's what I told the company as well prior to them sending it out.
@@David-qp9bq How do you feel about buying and trying it, return it if you don't like it?
did you happen to do a review on this?
Not yet.
Hm?
What was the price?
I linked to the listing. Not sure if it will change
Using 2 of their sub amps as full range($120 for both), basically monoblocks, nice power driving my elac ub51 in the garage
It has no Digital Decoders built in it
It does not

This is like that schitt 5.1 thing. I really really do not see the appeal of these amps.
The Schiit one does processing. This is just an amp. If you just think of it as a small 5 channel amp, you can see how it might be useful for someone wanting to create a multi-channel system with an 8-16 channel audio interface and a few of these. I think for a computer system it makes some sense.
@@joentell I mean decoding of popular multi channel formats like Dolby atmos or dts. I realize it does some hokey Dolby pro logic thing with two channel stuff but again I don’t get the appeal of this at all. Even if you had multi channel audio from something like Apple Music. It’s like fighting the big receiver game when you’ve already decided you want multiple speakers around your room.
@@See5harp again, multi-channel audio interfaces for a computer aren't very expensive. It might make sense there. I've also reviewed an HDMI to 7.1 converter also that might work with this. I get you though
@@joentell This is great if you have a good soundcard and want to upgrade your computer audio set with some decent speakers
@@joentell Completely agree. I've actually been waiting for something like this for quite a while. I know Pyle has something like this, but meh Pyle. Thank you for sharing!
This thing must suck bad
