So much drama Indian parents do. 😁 Speaking about Tulu, I just came back from Uru and kids there cannot even count in Tulu anymore. You have to speak to them in Kannada many times. Our neighbour was telling us that Tulu has now been reduced to a language for older people and villagers. If a language cannot survive in its own native region, what should one expect from people living outside the state? Individuals' interest is enough to hold on to their own culture. Who you marry does not make any difference if you are not interested in speaking your own language.
