First, Thank you! Very good demo great playing. If I might suggest in the future many of us are looking for the "Drive" sounds at Low then Medium then High settings. That way we can hear if the setting has the range we are looking for. Thank you though as this does give a very good sample as is.

Big pluses are that a person can actually hear the tones of the different choices, there are no superfluous backing instruments such as drums, keyboards, grandma on the bagpipes, or the thick cousin on the fiddle - huge bonus. I'm busy looking at developing a few staple patches to mix in with my other pedals, where here I can just concentrate on the tones of the choices. One after another without having to play, stop and mess with the unit, play again, and so on.. By the time you are at the end of the list, you have forgotten what the 4th one was like, never mind the 1st. Thanx a stack.

Olá amigo Paulo! Cara, o pessoal da Boss afirma que sim, é o mesmo processador. Na prática eu não sinto diferença entre os timbres da GT1 e GT100. Até já copiei nela alguns patches da GT100 postados aqui no canal e ficaram idênticos. A GT-1 é muito boa! Se comporta realmente como uma espécie de mini GT-100. Estou usando um foot da Meteoro de dois switches com a GT1 como CTL2 e CTL3... Assim eu tenho 3 CTL's à disposição, um da própria pedaleira e os outros dois do foot. A função Assign que vem nas GT's é excelente, podemos ligar e desligar vários efeitos no mesmo patch com apenas um click em um desses CTL's expandindo a controlabilidade da Gt1. Ainda não parei pra ver se os reverbs disponíveis dá pra fazer algo como um shimmer mas verei em breve. Estou a desvendando aos poucos. :D Abração cara!!! 👊🎸
Thinking about this one. I had the Boss ME-80 and liked it other than the overdrive's in it (we're just Ok) to me. You think I like this better? Need good delays and reverbs and overdrive's into a Bugera V22
Does the "natural OD" really correspond to the OD-3, and the "warm OD" to the SD-1? On the GT-100 manual those equivalences are not mentioned (whereas it does say for example that "turbo OD" is the OD-2)
For example, if you try to use Natural OD as a booster (Drive 0, Tone 50% and Level 100%), it will not work as well. The OD3 also doesn't work well as a booster. Warm OD works as a booster perfectly, as well as the great SD1. Further tests were done using the sound comparison method. Although Natural OD and Warm OD have a greater amount of drive in the multi-effects (Gt1 and Gt100), we noticed that the sounds are based on the pedals OD3 and SD1 because of the sound characteristics. Another example, Warm OD sounds more medium as well as the SD1 pedal. But as I said, they are based and not simulations. Fala Marcio... cara, pode ter sido o amp. Cada um é um mundo diferente. Dia desses eu desconectei um JCM800 de um gabinete Marshall 4x12 v30 e conectei em um gab Meteoro 4x12... o som do JCM800 ficou abafadão. :/ Eu tinha em casa um Nitrous 160 e costumava acontecer o mesmo, terminei vendendo.

I tested The BD-2 from a friend for a few days and I tend to buy the pedals. The channel "Pedal Bored" has a very good comparison between Blues Drivers (including the Waza) and 2 clones, the video and the channel is also remarkable, because the guy actually plays music (from a Loop a created) and not the boring blues farts, I hear everywhere at YT.

@@DirectRecordingGuitar It's also one of the best looking Boss Pedals. They changed the internal circuits in 2017 though (to SMT and a printed board), I wonder if that makes as difference. The Waza claims to use discrete electronics, but in normal mode it's noticeable less loud.
:) All my Boss pedals are before 2010. My Metal Zone is 1998. I also can't say about the new ones. Whenever I'm going to buy a Boss pedal, the limit year is 2010 for me. :) It's a craze, I believe. I've been on guitar forums a lot haha. I'll buy a new SD-1 for testing soon. I'm curious!

Olá Getúlio, nas pedaleiras Boss isso não é possível. Pelo menos que eu saiba. Sempre que ativar um preamp ele vai filtrar o timbre do pedal de distorção. Se vc desligar a simulação de gabinete e manter o preamp ligado o drive vai sair cru, abelhudo... se ativar algum gabinete todos os sons vão sair alterados com a simulação. Em pedaleiras como a Fender Mustang Floor podemos deixar por exemplo a saída L COM simulação de amp e gabinete mandando o sinal para a mesa de som e a saída R SEM simulação alguma podendo mandar direto para o amp. Alguns pedais analógicos simuladores de amp e gabinete também têm essa função como o preamp Uchoa, ele tem saída XLR COM simulação de amp e gab e saída L mono SEM simulações. I own the Gt1 and was thinking of upgrading to the GT100 but after watching this, is there any need to upgrade? Same sound engine, just fewer pedals to control the sound live. What are your thoughts?
The same processor. And the same sounds. The GT100 wins in controllability and some details like: Being able to use two amp simulators on different channels (L e R stereo) at the same time, it has mic simulation and it helps a lot, we have extra OD/DS sections on FX1 and FX2 so we can use an OD as a booster from another OD... some details we don't have in GT1 but it's still a great tool. I will even be using it at live shows this weekend. I really like GT1 and GT100.
I am upgrading because you cannot use the 4 cable method to take advantage of your real Amp's preamp on the GT-1, it does not have the Send/Receive like the GT-100. Sound wise not much difference - same engine. Both are fab!
I have a GT 100 boss but there is a problem with the pedal being too sensitive, if I use it as a volume at the maximum position ... the pedal switch must be depressed ... how to handle it?, thank you
Gt100 or Gt1? Either way you should look for information on calibrating your expression pedal. Unfortunately, I have never done any video on this topic.

Olá amigo, uma vez li em um dos seus comentários que vc usa um foot da meteoro na GT 1. Comprei um e não funcionou na minha. Sabe me dizer se precisa de alguma configuração diferente? Meu foot eh aquele que tem um botão Channel e um botão reverb. Por favor me ajuda!!!
Sim Renato, esse funciona pra ligar e desligar efeitos. Segue aí: Conecte o foot na entrada CTL2,3/EXP2 no fundo da pedaleira, vá para o patch que vc deseja ter efeitos controlados pelo foot, aperte Memory Edit, com o knob 1 gire até CT2, aperte Enter, escolha o efeito que vc quer ligar/desligar com o knob 1 e com o knob 2 coloque em MOMENT (isso mesmo, em Moment para ele ligar/desligar efeitos), aperte Exit uma vez e vá para CT3 e repita os mesmos passos anteriores. Depois me avisa se deu certo. Não esqueça de no final salvar o patch. Abração cara.

Acho que se vc mandar em um Peavey Bandit 112 ou Marshall Valvstate 8080 não ficará abafado.

Olá amigo, uma vez li em um dos seus comentários que vc usa um foot da meteoro na GT 1. Comprei um e não funcionou na minha. Sabe me dizer se precisa de alguma configuração diferente? Meu foot eh aquele que tem um botão Channel e um botão reverb. Por favor me ajuda!!!
Sim Renato, esse funciona pra ligar e desligar efeitos. Segue aí: Conecte o foot na entrada CTL2,3/EXP2 no fundo da pedaleira, vá para o patch que vc deseja ter efeitos controlados pelo foot, aperte Memory Edit, com o knob 1 gire até CT2, aperte Enter, escolha o efeito que vc quer ligar/desligar com o knob 1 e com o knob 2 coloque em MOMENT (isso mesmo, em Moment para ele ligar/desligar efeitos), aperte Exit uma vez e vá para CT3 e repita os mesmos passos anteriores. Depois me avisa se deu certo. Não esqueça de no final salvar o patch. Abração cara.
@@DirectRecordingGuitar obrigado pelo retorno amigo, eu tinha colocado em togle, talvez seja isso mesmo. Vou testar e lhe informo. Só pra vc saber, em togle funcionou, mas está ligando e desligando com 2 clicks e não com um. Vou tentar deixar em moment. Muito obrigado! Curto muito seus vídeos.
Isso mesmo Renato. Se fosse um Boss FS6, teria que ser em togle para ligar/desligar. Mas dando nosso "jeitinho" com o Meteoro tem que ser em "moment". :) Abração cara, qualquer coisa estou sempre por aqui.
