    Hey guys here’s a link to some images that explain how I attach the small power bank to the small rig cage! drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-6HK4rJfOEmP0NHP8ynaPHV-gu5MZuhk
    Basically just use adhesive cable ties to secure the power bank to the qr plate

      Neehal Khan basically the a6400 and sigma lenses will be cheaper overall but it depends on your shooting style. The Fuji has the joystick which is a big deal but Sony’s af tracking and eye af is very very good so it depends on what you think you’ll use more. If video is a concern then I think the a6400 is the better bet

    • @neehalkhan5439
      @neehalkhan5439 Před 5 lety

      Lex and Josh thank you soo much.
      I am just into photography. And weight, handling and image quality is very important to me.
      Is there a lot of difference in their image quality?
      Which of them is more comfortable to use?
      What will i miss out from the other if i choose either of them?
      Are sigma 16mm f1.4 and 56mm f1.4 really good enough to choose sony a6400?
      No doubt fujifilm lenses are amazing but they are nearly double the price.
      Will that less expensive combo be sufficient for me?
      Answers to these questions might help me decide.
      Thank you

    • @LexandJosh
      @LexandJosh  Před 5 lety +1

      Neehal Khan I would say for your purposes the sigma lenses are good enough. Image quality is also similar although if you love Fuji film simulations then you’ll be missing that on the Sony. I think the Sony has better autofocus and a faster burst rate (although the xt30 has ultra fast 30fps with electronic shutter). Sorry I can’t really tell you which is better though it’s really up to you. Try to think about which system has the cameras and lenses you may want to upgrade to in the future. That may help you decide

    Those ghosting effects is cussed by the image processing inside the camera. To get rid of it you need to turn off all the sharpness inside the picture profile settings and use only the s-log 2 gamma (s-log 3 is also free of this effect but it's very grainy).
    In every one of other picture profiles in low light conditions ghosting effect is present.

    Hey! I really appreciate how honest and informative this video was. 😀
    I am upgrading from a Canon G7X Mark ii and need to decide between A7iii and A6400.
    Purpose : Travel vlogging, light commercial client work - both photos and videos (like restaurant/food and product shoots)
    After watching a lot of CZcams videos now, I am thinking that A6400 coupled with 18-105 lens plus a canon 50mm (along with a canon converter) would get me the best value for money .
    (Instead of just a7iii plus kit lens). What do you suggest? Your advise would meana lot!

      @@LexandJosh The touch pad is the best manual option to select an object to focus using the screen; just select touching it. But using the EV it is only possible to drag the initial AF point.
      I think that this touch or stick manual AF point selection is more useful in video o with the camera on a tripod taking pics. I am more used to focus and reframe in photo.

The limitations I can live with because I am not a professional. I like your power solution, a big plus, and your unbiased opinion of the lack of professional quality lenses. My take away is purchase a higher quality lens with image stabilization. I will actually be moving up from an antique Nikon D60 which has served me well over the years but is now woefully outdated.

When using the viewfinder I can move the focusing point with my thumb freely, on my Panasonic GX85, that is 3-years old and costs under $600 with two lenses (!). But not on this one. Similarly I just wanted to know that is a pic click by Fuji camera is lot better than the sony 6400 or is it the same, just a minor difference .
    If the difference is big then I would consider Fuji and if the difference is just a lil, fuji image is bit slightly better but not so much difference ,then I would go for soniye 6400.

      You 2020 with all Sony cameras you definitely have to set them up properly. That means customizing the My Menu, fn menu, and custom buttons to suit your liking. Otherwise the camera will be really hard to navigate. I would say the a7iii will be closest to a dslr feel especially if you like having a joystick on the back. That being said the a6400 and a6500 will do outdoor portraits just as well at a fraction of the cost especially if you use eye af a lot. I can’t comment on the g95 other then the sensor is smaller then all of the other cameras. And the d750 is an amazing camera if you don’t mind not having an evf, eye af, or ibis. I highly recommend getting your hands on an a7iii and an a6400/a6500 to test out and use on the job so you can see which you like better and which falls into your budget more.

      @@LexandJosh 6400 have that problem. 21minutes recording and camera shut down... poor, but is true. Oh, do you know that back panel of 6400 is plastic? Not magnesium... maybe sony replace material to plastic, its colder... ;)

      Szymon 1 feels like magnesium to me! Surprising you’ve had overheating on the a6400 I haven’t heard of anyone having issues to be honest.
