Each day you are bombarded by many thoughts. The devil uses our thoughts to sow seeds. Sometimes we are bombarded with bad thoughts such as regret, bitterness, depression and anxiety. These are all thoughts that can derail you and take you away from what God has planned for you
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
11 For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
God has good thought towards you. The thoughts that God has towards you are always good. The thoughts that you have can hinder you, but today God is telling you today are ones that are good
2 Corinthians 10:5 (NIV)
5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
Today pray against every thought that has been holding you back from achieving the plans that God has for you. Demolish every negative thought that may be bombarding your mind in Jesus’ name
Isaiah 55:8 (NIV)
8 ‘For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,’
declares the LORD.
God is saying to you today, that He has special thoughts for you today, therefore embrace the good thoughts that He has towards you
Philippians 4:8 (NIV)
8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things.
These are the things that you need to meditate on so that your thoughts are good. When you meditate on God’s word, your thoughts will become pure, and they will start to align with the thoughts that God has towards you
Luke 12:7 (NIV)
7 Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
God thoughts are so pure towards you that he knows the number of the hair on your head. God is always thinking about you and wanting goodness for you
Galatians 5:22 (NIV)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness
Today ask the Holy Spirit to help you to meditate daily on God’s word. Today ask the Holy Spirit to give you the desire to immerse yourself in the bible and the good thoughts that God has towards you
