The fatal and insane ending was really sad, when i saw the video of the dad and the son dying it actually made me shed a tear because the dad and the son didn’t deserve to die together in one go.. It just makes me shed alot of tears when i see those endings

i was gonna try to get the insanity ending with all answers with remorse, i wanted to see how it was to answer that they did not enjoy it nor the dad deserved it, although..
when i got to the mirror part, i couldn't do it, at the last seconds i took off my finger from the E key, and just went to the yard to get the true good ending
i couldn't do it because i'm currently dealing with the grief of losing my father, i did not enjoy aiming towards the insanity ending nor playing after the mirror part, i cried, and a lot, it broke me
worst part is, that when you turn insane, it's also on the part where the dad starts to cry because of the loss of the love of his life, the part where you can get the good ending
i'd like to tell whoever looks at this video, appreciate your family members and learn to look at their good side and aspects, because when they leave, at least they will leave with the truth that you loved and appreciated them until their very last moment, like my father did.
and even if he did leave that way...sometimes i remember the things i did to him and hate myself for that, man...i wish he was here, and right now i didn't have to write all of this.

i hated the process towards that ending, i was forcing myself to keep the E on, i just couldn't do it.

Honestly I'm actually kinda glad the game glitched on me, because if I got that fatal ending I would be crying, or felt like I screwed up.

Well let me explain
The insanity ending, despite being sad and a bit confusing, has an explanation. Well, it's simple, when the protagonist looks in the mirror, he keeps seeing the figure of his father because he is thinking about how we Behaviors he has had in recent years. And when he breaks the glass it's because he feels angry that in recent years his father hasn't been away and has become a little aggressive, That's why he tries to kill his father at all costs.
Well now we have the fatal ending the fatal ending when the protagonist waits and doesn't kill his father it could be because at that moment he was thinking about the good things his father did So he waits for his father to kill him because he was making his father suffer, waiting for him to be attacked and his father jumps on his son and murders him with the fork And the father is sad and remorseful for having killed his son, so he kills himself because he no longer had the only happiness in life and he killed himself.

You missed one big detail. At the end of the mirror stare, you can hear a flatline and someone screaming. Safe to say what you said + this equals insanity.

A better wording for the true ending is that it’s bittersweet. It’s a little sad because the mother died but it comes to a sweet conclusion and resolve.
