Hush Hush and Crescendo!!
I was literally looking at my Immortal Series books (I have the first 3) and was debating on whether to unhaul mine, and you mentioned how you were unhauling yours! lol I took it as a sign :P
They are not the best books but they are not too bad!! give them an opportunity :)
I don't think I would get to them anytime soon :( If I do read it in the future, I will consult the library! :)
An 'unhaul' makes getting rid of books almost fun. I had trouble getting into Nancy Drew too. I love your scarf!
Skylark, Meridian, and Hush Hush are books I would love to have. I'm really into angel books especially so those piqued my interest.

THE BOOK OF DEAD DAYS!! My friend let me borrow it years ago and I loved it. Haven't been able to find a copy of my own!
I am reading now Wicked and I love it so much I'd really like to get my hands on Out of Oz, because I want to get the whole series.
I loved the first few books of Maximum Ride, but yes, indeed, the series fell apart after the 4th book. I think reading the first 3 books and then stopping is worth it because the series is kind of split into 2 parts and the first part is so amazing!
And Hush Hush Crescendo giveaway would be amazing!

I have some major, MAJOR bookshelf clearing to do. I literally don't have anymore room for the new books I continue to buy, haha. Granted, I don't have a big enough book shelf in the first place.
The Need series, Maximum Ride, Nearly Departed, Triskellion and Hush Hush/Crescendo all seem like really good books! If you had to choose any for the international thing, it should be The Need series and Maximum Ride.
I read Need a couple years ago and loved it! I have yet to get into the rest of the series but I would recommend you give it a go!

Skylark is a perfect mix between fantasy and steam punk . the writing is amazing and the main baddie is terrifying. It is such a ride of a book ^_^

I loved The Immortals series! Okay it did drag a little bit but I still enjoyed it a lot! I even bought the spin off series with Riley (and have almost finished it - I just don't have the last book!) :P :)

I love the hush hush series... kind of like a guilty pleasure read! but the second one did make me one to throw it at the wall lol but it gets really good by the third one!

Ohh, my Maximum Ride Angel Experiment is the only one of the series that I own in hardback so I would LOVE to own yours! That would be fantastic and it will be loved!! I live in Sydney too so that's a bit easier. Thank you!

I would say give the Marcus Sedgwick book a chance....I haven't read that one but in my experience with the books of his I have read (Midwinterblood, the My Swordhand is Singing omnibus, and White Crow), they're really fast paced and brilliant for readathons =)

As for the IMMORTALS books - same story with me. A friend lend me the first three books, I bought the last three, hated them, now they're on my Shelf of Shame and I really want to get rid of them.

I own two books that were signed by the author to whoever it was that sold me the book and it makes me a little sad. But hey, at least the books landed on my shelf and not in a garbage bin.
DO NOT give away darkness becomes her by: Kelly Keaton. It is one of my favourite books in the history of books and it is soooo fantastically awesome!

Those Alyson Noel books are actually books 3, 5, and 6. The 4th one is like Dark Star or something.

Maybe if you try to read the first one you'd enjoy it. I also think is one of the books that you think that it won't like you, but then you love it.

so, youve probably been asked this a gazillion times before and i apologize in advance if this is the case, but wondering what your opinion of the whole digital/e book thing is? I like my paper books, its about more than the words on the paper to me, the artwork, and even how a book feels and smells is something i like too (im that sad) but due to limited space, one shelf from IKEA (and add to that im a wheelchairer so my shelf is a shorter one that i can reach) im considering buying more digital books and if i like what i read then i'll buy them in hardback form in the best version i can find.

This is probs WAY too late, but I have the first book in The Wind Singer trilogy (Firesong). I'm not really willing to let go of the first one I have, but I feel like you should pick up the first one. It's pretty weird, but I enjoyed it a lot. If you've read any of Catherine Fisher's work and enjoyed them, you'll like the first one.

It is a wonderful series... I definitely suggest you read it. Especially if you like greek mythology or even percy jackson.

First of all: I think it's good to give books away (or sell them if you want) to make space on your shelf. I don't think I could do that cuz I still like them just being there even if they weren't the greatest I still like having them.
I thought of maybe buying Skylark myself (I wasn't sure tho cuz I got many other books in my basket) so if you want to get rid of it I'd gladly take it. Also Firesong and Slaves of Mastery sound interesting to me and I'd like those. I've started the immortal series but never got around to by more (cuz there were mor urgent books on my list) and if you don't want them I'd gladly take those too ;)
