The IX Center in Cleveland is the best venue once you are there. Large area with plenty of seating to look at cards, sit down and relax, eat, and take a breather in between booths. The main thing that is different from Chicago is you don’t have key hotels right across the street - Hilton, Doubletree, Loews nor restaurants like Gibsons, Capital Grille, Brazilian…. Always enjoyed the National in Cleveland and will be there next week.
There’s not a ton to do by the IX center but you are 20 minutes from everything… You can go downtown to E. 4th for some great restaurants or check out all the breweries nearby. You can also take a boat tour on the Goodtime for $30. If you’re not into the city, you can go to a nice suburb spot on the Westside like Crocker Park or Chagrin Falls on the Eastside.
For me I drive 20 minutes and I’m there . Don’t like the cost to get in or most of the autos are too high for me. But the I X center is huge and wide open to move around. Good luck hope you find the cards.
Im going on saturday for my first time. Im low budget hoping to find some current bills and sabres players in diacount bins. Any recomendations for me on how or where to find good discount bins?
As a native Clevelander, THANK YOU for debunking the myth that our city is trash. As somebody that lives literally 2 min from the IX Center I cant wait to attend my 1st National!
So true that time and money can be an issue-I’ve been there and had to sit out the National more than once. On those years, I love watching show videos to get a feel for how the show went.

What’s parking like at the IX center?
@@kennedycain4897 not sure-we always take the shuttle from the hotel.
@@kennedycain4897 We have 2 massive parking lots. 1 on either side of the building
No matter where the National is held, it's going to cost you time and money. I have neither. Thanks for the video!

Rare and Fair buy it. I preach the same thing.
Absolutely-sucks to miss out on great cards!
Cleveland does suck... They should move to Akron MIchigan.
I’ve been to the National in Baltimore, Cleveland, and Chicago. The IX Center in Cleveland has been the best venue in my opinion.
