In the process of now unboxing and filming my S95D 2024 QD-OLED TV by Samsung display.
I just got the 55" S95D from Best Buy over the weekend on 3/23. Using a RTX 4090 and haven't had any issues with blackout/dropouts. Though, I have a 77" S95C that is also connected to a 4090 and never had any dropouts on that one either.
Nice nice! Yeah I’ve got a lot of content up of the issues happening even when not having 144Hz native content engaged. I think without all the evidence I’ve made to create the awareness people would think the claims fake, also I’d be interested in knowing when you got yours? I got mine day one, swapped the one I have now with the first panel within a week so still of that earliest batch. I think I had the second up before anyone else even had one on CZcams as to say it was really early.

@@charliegrech2026 not as bad as I thought it would be. I think it still reduces what the TV could be capable of though. But I guess it opens it up to people that have bright rooms
Just bought the 77” S95D with q990D soundbar, can’t wait for it to get delivered.
Was gonna get the A95L but got offered the S95D with the Q990D for a few hundred LESS than a discounted A95L. Just couldn’t say no to that

If Samsung fixed the dropouts, I think it'll be the TV of the year imo.
TKK, my replacement S95C 65" has been perfect. My first unit constantly dropped any incoming signal. After a a failed tech visit, Samsung replaced my defective TV and One Connect Box with a brand new unit. I'm able to use 4K144, HDR, VRR, and ALLM without any issues. My PS5 and XSX are perfect as well. I'm also using Zeskit Maya 8K HDMI cables.
Samsung upgraded their One Connect Box for 2024. They're full 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 ports instead of the 40Gbps that were used in previous models. Lastly, I'm excited to try out 4K240 with the QN900D 65" later in the week.

@@mat.b. I spoke a little too soon. :( My 3090 occasionally drops out with my S95C 65". I set the max frame rate to 143Hz, and I set the application to decide which frame rate to output instead of constantly forcing 4K144. I played FF7 REMAKE for 7 hours and I experienced dropouts during the 6-7 mark. It's possible that the One Connect Box got too hot, but who knows. My other consoles, PS5 and XSX, don't experience that issue at all. I played through Spider-Man 2's campaign, and I didn't experience a single dropout. Hopefully your experience is better than mine.
@@Nwordplzplz oh rats, hope the 2024 95D's dont have this issue too....is the refresh rate 120, or 144? Could lowering specs fix things?
I got the s95c now for a few months and I'm still having problems with it. I have the dropouts with my pc and my Marantz cinema 40 isn't recognized on the arc port. I get the audio from the TV but I can't connect any device to the cinema 40 because I will not have image on the tv.
What are the dimensions of the one connect? Looks massive
i have problems in 120hz, constant blackouts but in 4k 144hz works perfectly lol. I have a rtx 3080 and windows 11

Gonna try it to fact find on the proof of if it reduces any issues on my S95C. Great minds think alike.
I don't think it is as Samsung updated the internal components. The new One Connect Box supports 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 ports and the previous One Connect Box supported 40Gbps HDMI 2.1 ports. I'd love to be proved wrong though.
@@AllAboutTKK I noticed that the S95D’s One Connect Box takes less power from the wall than the S95C’s One Connect Box does, and also supplies power at a lower voltage and wattage to the screen on its more powerful power rail for the power that it supplies to the S95D’s screen compared to the S95C’s One Connect Box’s power supply to the screen according to their labels. Swapping the screens could damage the TVs’ components due to mismatched power supplies and loads.

Random question: Hypothetically, if one of these broke what does it cost to repair or replace? Can you just get a new box?
I’ve no clue, doesn’t look to be a sell item but, I know the main board can be replaced.
What is the specs of this pc ? That you just build ?
Base of this is 10700kf and RTX 3080, I wanted something slightly stronger than a ps5 and series X and these were parts I had laying around.

Wonder if using s95d one Connect on s95c resolves any issues
