    Hi I'm 27 years old with partial corpus callosum. I am a medical assistant, phlebotomist and a professional organizer, married and live a good life. I speak in short or incomplete sentences · Speak in sentences that don't make sense. I am clumsy. I can be socially awkward at times. It can take me extra time to finish a task or test because I overly think things. But all of these don't adversely affect my life. It's annoying but it's manageable. I like to think of it like God made me with extra sprinkles on top. Hope this gives someone hope.

      I’m 39 have partial cc too. I am a special education teacher. I sometimes stumble over my words or cannot find the word to complete my thought. It mostly happens when I’m tired or stressed out. I’m definitely socially awkward at times. It can definitely be annoying but I manage through it. I wish I was organized! Lol

      Hello
      I’m 27 and my son was recently diagnosed with GAND syndrome, and his MRI showed malformations with his corpus callosum. He is 1.5.
      This did give me a lot of hope. Thank you.

    My 7-year old son has ACC and it's been a challenge. He walks, talks in a primitive way, likes music and percussion. He's very good with rithms. He's far from learning to draw or to write, but will get there. He's happy and safe. That's enough for now.

      @Dutchess80 Před 3 lety

      do not worry. most people turn out just fine! just have her checked for developmental delays...the brain works harder and ACC can cause your child to have a higher than average IQ because her brain had to adapt which = faster evolution! a lot of the talented and gifted kids have ACC as well as high functioning Aspies. no big deal!

      I have a two (almost 3) year old. She has complete ACC. She talks very well, knows all her colors, counts to 12, rides a trike & more. All kids are different & develope different, even those without ACC. We take it a step at a time. With ACC, you never know what's coming next. Life is an adventure!
