The line consistents of three floorstanders, one bookshelf, one on-wall, and two center-channels. In this video, Will Kline describes the design details for all the models in the line, while Joshua Dellinger talks about how the four main-speaker models were set up in the world-famous World of McIntosh luxury townhouse, which is located in SoHo, New York.

Beautiful speakers.
Thank you for the walk through.
I love Sonus Faber they are superb quality, sound amazing and as mentioned in the video the room is critical!
Sonus Faber, the Ferrari of loudspeakers.
my cat loves the driver covers
Get rid of the cat.
True works of art.
I like how he emphasized “Each” at 4:07.😲☺️
which integrated amp you would recommend for Sonus faber Olympica Nova III? McIntosh MA9000 or MA8900, MA352 or Gryphon Diablo 120?
Ferrari of speakers
What’s the reason behind the string grills? Are they just a design (more of a work of art) feature, or does the design have any other purpose besides looking good?
I understand the pricing for the nova 5’s are 16.5k, but what about the pricing on all the rest?
Those are stunning! The only thing appearance wise I have a problem with are those funky string "grills". Would love to visit this place someday.
Yes but...I'm sure they don't roll off the highs like many grills. So that's a plus for that design. Of course they won't protect the drivers from 'little hands' ;-)
I thought the same thing about the string grils at first but now I really like them.
Hey David, thanks for watching and commenting. If the string grills aren't your bag... no worries. You can outfit the speakers with or with out the string grills. They look and sound great either way. Hey, who knows... the stings may grow on you once you have them in your home :)
Cheers,
Does this speakers only play music not for movies cinema?
At the beginning of the video they talk about the whole lineup -- which includes two center-channel speakers, to flesh out a full home-theater system.
Sonus faber hanno un anima
Points out the slimmer cabinet at 1:17, and how the reason for that is to prevent front baffle resonance. Has he forgotten the "wide as a truck" baffle on the Elipsa?
It's a good point, but the current Sonus faber designer (Paolo Tezzon, he's been there for about 10 years) is not the designer of the Elipsa.
@@soundstagenetwork Thank you for your reply! I own a pair of piano black Amati Futura's, and could not be more pleased with them! I wonder if Mr. Tezzon designed my Amati Futura's? They are a delight to look at, as well as listen to!
@@jimihendrix1575 Yes, actually he did. And from what I understand, that was also the first "full" design that Livio Cucuzza (industrial designer) did head to toe.
@@soundstagenetwork Please, if you ever see or talk to these gentlemen, tell them THANK YOU, for me!
@@jimihendrix1575 Actually, we just emailed them this link and suggested they chime in on this thread. Let's see what it brings.

Billet Ali Plates…. a contradiction in terms… plate is plate.. billet is…. billet and … plate is not billet…, you can have piece of plate.., doesn’t make it billet.
These terms describe the form the material was manufactured into at the mill…
To provide the grade & temper of the Ali does definitely mean something…
Any, beautiful speakers👍
i like how they dont have a faber 4 cause its bad luck so they made a 5 instead but if you wont to hear it its on level 4 lol
Beautiful speakers and I am considering this brand. However, I really dislike the way these were presented by the people in this video.
Sonus Faber seem a Fiat 500 plated Gold. But it always remains a Fiat. Beautiful speakers.... nothing else.
This is. A great gay annoucement
The infamous 'string' grills that surely will sag and will need tightening over and over. Absurdly expensive to replace. Unforgivable for a speaker this prestigious.
Uh, actually no. They hold up just fine. But way to jump ahead on the negativity train before anyone else even knew it was passing by ;)
This may have been some what true with early models where the elasticity of the strings would start to give after many years and would need to be replaced if starting to sag. The materials have been improved and the strings will hold their tension for many many years. I have had my personal pair of Sf speakers for more than 5 years and loss in tension.
My string grills are over 13 years old and not sagging what so ever.
However you know these are not that great. To get any kind of good Sonus Faber you have to go to the top of the line yet they are dwarfed by better and I mean much better at a lower price
How do you know these are not that great? Have you had an opportunity to have a listen to them? If not...I would like to invite you to listen to the new Olympica Nova loudspeakers. I am providing our premium authorized dealer locator and I hope that you have a dealer located near your home to give the speakers a listen. Link below....

I would love to know your thoughts, please let us know what you think of our new loudspeakers.
Thank you,
Am I the only one laughing at the pretentiousness of this video? The guys in this promo can't even afford to own these things.
Actually, Will Kline not only represents the brand, he owns the previous generation of Olympica speakers and is upgrading those to these. They're diehard audiophiles -- as a result, they prioritize their incomes for purchases like this.
Yes youre only one. But cheer up. Maybe someday you'll be able to buy these nice speakers
Why wouldn’t they be able to afford them?
@@stereoz1119 That was my question too. Why in the world would anyone presume that the people presenting the video couldn't afford them?
Hello there. I am one of the gents in the video. Thank for viewing our video as well taking the time to comment. I have owned both McIntosh and Sonus faber loudspeakers before ever joining the company and my father owned McIntosh before I was born. Now, I am very fortunate to work with people and products that I care so much about. I own the previous Sonus faber Olympica III loudspeakers and I am upgrading to the Sonus faber Amati Tradition which is an amazing speaker in the next family up from the Olympica Nova series. The Amati have been a dream speaker of mine for about 10 years. I am happy to see my dream will come to be a reality in the very near future. I hope one day you get to live your dreams the same as we have.
Take care of yourself and happy Holiday's.
