3:57 There is a shortcut here: instead of driving on the track after hitting checkpoint 2, you can instead make a hard right immediately after checkpoint 2 and just drive on the floor straight to checkpoint 3.
Does that save a good chunk of time?
I just tried and passed the unleashed time pretty easy

I saw a lot of people saying they were struggling with the Time Attacks so I thought I'd help you guys with the final 5 Time Attacks which are probably the hardest ones to do. If you are struggling with any others let me know and I may do a guide on other Time Attacks.

The main issue I have with Green Wave is that often the game decides which of the routes you can take. You can boost onto the first choice while the bridge is down, but getting onto the second one while the bridge is down is impossible

Bro, you saved my life in that No Braking. I find shortcuts like that in a bunch of multiplayer maps but never thought I'd find one in a campaign mission.

the biggest issue i have is that traps are not disabled for time trial. especially with the spider module, its just way too rng dependent to guarantee a good run because the webs can literally be anywhere when you come up to them. all other traps are just annoying but at least theyre consistent because they either just move up and down or side to side. but the spider is just by far the worst. if the goal is to go as fast as you can, then there NEEDS to be an element of consistency throughout the whole track. i basically did the whole game with a fully upgraded solid muscle. and when i only had about 12 unleashed times left that i couldnt do, i waited until i got 24 ours and demolished the rest. but jesus speeding ticket was the only one i truly struggled with because id get cucked by either of the traps when i thought i had a good run going.

For the spider modules, you can boost just before the spider shoots the web, and you can also swerve just before the Spider shoots if possible.
I fully agree. The traps are entertaining and a great way to mix up the race position order, but in Time trial, your best run may well be the one that got away because of Those. Damn Traps... I mean, theres no difficulty levels for time attack. they become so damn extremely difficult, that the traps just seem sadistic and at the very least, diistract from the critical racing line and cadence.
Excellent video, many thanks. Yes the Time Attacks are undoubtedly the hardest to beat even on Easy difficulty. I will let you know the name of my time attack I am struggling with and perhaps you can do a video on that in the future. Sometimes I did one Time Attack more than 12 times and just missed the Unleashed goal by 1 Second !, lol. It can be frustrating in this game, but the tracks, the graphics, the whole HotWheels representation and cool funky music ( lol !, yup some cool base riffs from the 80’s ) really make it a fun game. Even when I fail or crash in some tracks, the coolness of racing these toy cars around the track adds a lot fun value. Thanks for these tutorials. Good job 👍
This guide was a huge help dude, thanks! Also discovered a glitch to get full boost at the start of every race if you wanna make a video on it.
Activate any of the boost during the countdown, take your finger off the trigger and then you'll start the race with full boost. I was usimg power rocket and had 6 boost every time.

Fun shortcut at the first loop of green wave: enter on right side to avoid boost on left, then as you get to the top of the loop turn 90 and crash into the left barrier. As you fall from the top of the loop flip the car over (right analogue stick) and turn a little clockwise (i think). Land on the red track and boost into the bridge jump 👌
Wowww. I spent an hour and probably 30+ tries to get the No Braking unleashed goal with no shortcut
I can't believe this... It was literally a frame perfect finish. I finished Overnight in 1: 48: 998. Holy Moly...
On Bridge Overtakes where you have the second upper or lower spilt, go for the lower split slowly and do a 180. Drive to the rear right corner of the track (it ends here) and hit your respawn button. You will materialise at the final checkpoint, cutting off loads of the last segment of the track. Saves on avergae 20 seconds!

There will 100% micro transactions. Also, If you're trying to Platinum hunt this game, you need those bloody coins. 100K them..
One additional piece of info on bridge overtakes, if you wait until the second lap and beat the standard time on your first then both bridges should be in the up position meaning you don't have to save a boost to make the first one

4:35 when you take the jump that leads down to the start of this loop, if you immediately point the front of your car up and boost you can skip the whole loop and land at the end of it. I have done it multiple times but it does require having 2 boosts. The first boost pushes you back up and the second is used to keep you in the air so you can make the jump.
Good to see the Power Rocket. I've had that car since I was a kid.
Yeah its a classic, I even made the 1995 livery for it.
Speeding ticket. First 3 checkpoints are on the ground. First corner off the ramp onto the ground, hit checkpoint, hairpin left, hit checkpoint, hairpin right between checkpoint & yellow track, do not go onto the track! Boost towards the balls, hairpin left to checkpoint 3. Saves 10 seconds or so

On Speeding Ticket (Wild Wild Skate) there's a drop just before the second loop, if you have two boost pips you can use the air time to redirect your car to skip the loop entirely or, if you're feeling gutsy, you can boost straight into the cobra's mouth (with the right RNG) saving at least 20 seconds of time.
I HAVE ANOTHER SHORTCUT. Listen up at 2:01 instead of going on the boost pad on the loop stop at the top of the loop and drop down. This may take a couple tries but it will save a couple seconds! I ended with a time of 1:56:091 with doing the other two shortcuts.

On wild wild skate, if you cut between the checkpoint back onto the ramp right at the first off-track so you hit the cp but stay off track you can then drive on the floor straight over to the basketballs checkpoint, a huge skip that absolutely saves time (guarantees a win vs the fastest cars in the game online is they aren't also doing it)
Not just on overtime but on all time attack tracks you get full boost and you are actually putting yourself in disadvantage if you go for purple boost with car like power rocket, also I don't know if this gets affected due to difficulty I usually play on medium
Oh i didnt know the shortcuts on Green Wave and No Breaking lmao. No Breaking was the hardest for me but after 40min of trying i got a 1:17 run with the Honda S2000
The devs screwed themselves. I have read a ton of comments of people refusing to buy the sequel for several reasons, one being the time trials requiring shortcuts.

So I've tried every track at least 3 times and I still haven't unlocked N. Tropy's ghost yet on any of them. Any tips for that?
I'm having trouble in Call Me Flash (which is a Time Trial level) and every time I try to take a short cut it always keeps saying that I missed a check point. Also I'm having trouble on Volcano 🌋 Project time trial as well.
when you start a time trial don't use your boost right away. Time doesn't start until you cross the start line. So use it when you're close to that.

Even with the shortcuts and no crashes I was still .2 seconds off the regular time on green wave, they really should change the times
13:00 there is a huge shortcut here. Instead of following the track, boost down to the yellow track and drive up to the tunnel thingy. Then turn 180° and you are already at the table. You skip about 20 sec of the track like this

Not sure if anyone tried this (I tried but can't get it) at 4:13 (speeding ticket) u can see the snakes mouth opening (timing is everything) I figured jumping that ramp and boosting into the snakes mouth but I keep hitting the snake itself or there is an invisible wall. Just a thought n good luck to all
Found a shortcut for speeding ticket! Once u pass the second point that u immediately turn to, turn right and drive straight to the checkpoint by the basketballs
On one of the tracks you can skip half the course by boosting off a ramp. You have rocket league levels of air control in this game!
I used the super treasure hunt version of the Dragon Blaster. Having 5 boosts really saved my skin
I forgot to mention that the STH Dragon Blast is good, I haven't been able to get ahold of it yet.

How do you start with full charged boost in the first track? I mean... I know how to do it in other tracks, but not in the ones you have to spam "x" to get the purple boost... I mean I start in purple but not with all of the boost circles charged...

Sorry mate but the green ware trial just isn't possible tried it with nearly every possible car I have and won't drift to get onto the short cut some reason it goes 50 miles away
On speeding ticket, at 3:59 mark. Hit the check point slow and take a hard right and not get on the track and drive on the floor over to the check point at 4:19. What i did. Saves like 10 seconds. Actually all these last tracks have major track skips. Reply back and ill tell you my others.
And on Overtime. At 5:48 mark. Fall off to the left, land it with the right stick and boost on the floor using the other route that is on the floor. Saves alot of seconds, it meets you up at the 6:00 mark. Also right after the loops. At the big drift, fall off the edge on the left right at the end of the wall on the left and drive over to where it goes underground. If done smoothly, is 2 seconds faster.

Are time trials required for any unlocks? I was considering skipping most of them and just focusing on racing. Does it matter? Is it worth doing them all? Tbh I just want the Duck car.
You need to complete them if you want the Hi-Po Hauler and the Beach Bomber.
Have to say i got the game 1 week ago played 2-3 days and beat everything with common cars until the end there i had to uae rare epic or legendary cars and i got only 2 - the op handling car and the one with 3 boost in idk the names even more lol and i was also looling for shortcuts there aint many so keep driving and trying boost on different spots 😂
I've been watching this video over & over & over & still trying to figure out how to beat 'em, starting out with the one, beating 2:02, which (i use your techniques) I'm still having a hard time beating. Do I have to use the same cars you use? Or does it matter? Just having the hardest time with these last 5! 🤦🏼♂️
The Legendary Jesko or 24ours might be your best bet. This video might be a bit out of date now in terms of there may be new shortcuts found so maybe look to see if there are any better shortcuts to take. :)

I'm having trouble on slowly and surely my only legandary car or cars I have that is fast is only my RD-02 I seem to struggle with power rocket
Yeah that one is annoying especially the end, id suggest if you can get the 24 ours or the Jesko and upgrade them they should help with the handling at the end of the race.
This game sucks. I have a bug that automaticly start the respawn count down when an inch of my car leave the track. And after that the triangle button for respawn won't disappear. If that happend the game thinks the car is outside of track and nothing happening wehen i hit the finish line
Massive skip on Green Wave, a little hard to pull off. Instead of going down the turn in the beginning you can you the ramp to jump all the way down to the first checkpoint. Then reset car as you hit it and you save about 3 seconds.
There's a HUGE skip on green wave you could've used

I beat a few of these using the RD-02 because it's speed is bugged. When upgraded to legendary it will outpace other cars with the same speed (look up EST and FASTEST car (RD-02) for comparisons. The downsides are its handling/brakes and one boost even with all that it still is stupid good.

overtime is fucking impossible all my cars fly out of the track after the loops and near the end. Only got 2 legendary cars. the batmobile and the audi rally care. my other 100 chests were all commons and commons and commons
dude you need to drop down the yellow loop and boost into the last one. This is a fool proof solution for almost every legendary car. I tested it with the 442 automobile you get it in one of the secret races as mentioned in the video.
The game look cool but I did not buy it
