Onyx Studio 8 has a more opened sound in the mids at half volumes. At maximum volume, the Onyx Studio 7 and 8 seems to be almost identical in the mids and general sound. The Onyx Studio 7 has more bass than the new one. For now, I will keep with my two Onyx's Studio 7.

A ônix 7 tem um grave parecido mas a 8 e um pouco mais aberta estou ouvindo as duas num fone de alta qualidade da Sennheiser são bem parecidas às duas com uma sonoridades excelente equilibradas muito melhor que Jbl
Duas caixas fantásticas, só vi diferença pra aura studio 3 que é superior as duas em qualidade e tem o dobro de potência 100 contra 50 das ônix mas adorei o som das três caixas compraria qualquer uma delas com certeza
@@spark3616 Exatamente. A Onyx Studio 8 tem um médio mais definidos, o som é mais aberto. Esse é justamente o "defeito" da Studio 7, que têm médios mais recuados.
Studio 7 sounds Great at any particular music. Hall or dome settings prefer is suitable for the room...
The onix Studio 6 has the best bass than both. I had 5 and I regret selling it, but I think I'll buy 6

2:51 What cannot be replaced is the soft bass! Simply due to the physical limitations of the speaker, there is no point in artificially amplifying it if the speaker cannot reproduce it..... However, mid-bass and mid-high range can be amplified very easily! For this reason, and the built-in charger, the 8 is a much better choice in my opinion! Although I think this is a huge disadvantage for both, if you have USB-c, why not charge via it? This is a huge disadvantage, because you could charge from a power bank very easily!

@@Audiotest515 Unfortunately, I found out in the meantime that the USB-c port on the Onyx 8 is only a service port, you cannot charge the battery through this port!
So I dropped the Onyx series and bought the Citation 200 instead! I feel I made the right decision. It's much more compact, you don't have to give up very good sound, there are plenty of soft bass tones /around 40hz/, and it can be charged via USB-C! So you don't necessarily need to be near mains power like with the Onyx series! For these unfortunately there is no other option! I can take the Citation 200 for a weekend to wherever there might be no power, a few power banks are enough, which I have anyway. I am very satisfied with the Citation 200!

At maximum volume you can feel a big difference between them. Studio 8 is much louder and the bass feels the same.
having onyx 7 is not a loss and it's not much different from onyx 8 in onyx 7 the bass feels bigger than on onyx 8, it seems that onyx 8 is more inclined to trible, more detail and clearer sound
If I found them with a difference of 30 dollars, you think is worth to pay more for the Onyx 8?

It's true. I used to have Studio 6 and it also played great. Now the Studio 8 is a little close to it in mids and highs, but it lacks mid-range bass punch.

Studio 8 has less distortion on battery and is a little louder. but the best of them is HK Go Play 3😀.
Is the 8 made in the same place as the 7?....I know it is not... there is always a different sound...it is one of those things!!!
I think thay sound the same...the base is more on the 7....I wish the new one had surround sound function... echo etc
I'm currently using DTSX 3D Surround sound on the LgV40. And it's much better with the sound on the Studio 7 and 8. But you can hear the best and it's even the separation of instruments in the Denon Envaya Dsb 250 speaker.

It is not worth buying the Studio 7 Speaker because it wheezes in battery mode when it is at maximum volume.

When the speaker is cheaper, I would choose studio 8 because it has more mids and highs and more spatial sound. He listens better. The downside of this speaker is the stand that vibrates 😉in the rhythm of the bass.

@@hassanhammouch9266 Better be careful. When the power adapter is permanently connected to a laptop, cell phone or tablet, the user should discharge the battery to 50% at least once every two weeks to free the battery from persistent high voltage that may shorten its life.
