Almost every single person in Grindelwald’s army would have died for him and the ideals he carried. If Harry fought against Grindelwald and his army during the Battle of Hogwarts instead of Voldemort and Death Eaters, he would have lost. That is because Gellert’s followers, unlike Voldemort’s, wouldn’t left their leader alone when they saw his weakness or failure. No, they would stay and fight to the death because they all were united by the idea and as Mr. V once said: â€The ideas are bullet (or in our case magic-) proof. I think people who hated this movie and the previous one are foolish, because the franchise hasn't ended yet, this franchise has so much potential and has many connections with Harry Potter like Nagini, and the name Leta Lestrange which obviously has a connection with Bellatrix Lestrange, the deathly hallows symbol and so many more, that makes it enjoyable, it fills in the gaps and the side stories of the characters, specially Dumbledore because the HW movies mostly focused on Harry only and his curse, but this one focuses on many characters and not just Newt, i loved the Harry Potter movies and i certainly will enjoy these movies as well

People saying Gellert would’ve lost to Voldemort if they faced 💀 The only reason why Gellert went unchecked throughout Europe and America was because Albus Dumbledore was bound by a blood pact. Had that blood pact never broke; he would’ve won. No wizard or witch alive at that time could stand against him. In the second movie; Torquil Travers (current ministry head) had to personally ask Dumbledore in Hogwarts to fight in the war because no one else was skilled or powerful enough to stand against him. In the same second movie; the first scene was Gellert being transferred to Europe from the US magical prison, he managed to escape without even a scratch on him. Before that the head of MACUSA (us equivalent of the ministry) told the ministry rep that came for gellert that they had to change his guards because he kept corrupting them into serving him and they had to remove his tongue in the process as well as keep him magically sedated. Afterwards he manages to sway more people to his cause. The only mistake he had was allowing Newt Scamander’s niffler to get the blood pact from around his neck and also the mistake of wanting to kill Aurelius Dumbledore (aberforth’s bastard) when Albus was there to protect his nephew. Voldemort himself couldn’t even figure out the prophecy about him, let alone kill a defenceless infant. He had could’ve just sent assassins or other people after the Potters and the whole ordeal would’ve been done. Says a lot about his skill. Dumbledore could’ve killed him had he not been also obsessed with having the prophecy fulfilled.

People saying Gellert would’ve lost to Voldemort if they faced 💀 The only reason why Gellert went unchecked throughout Europe and America was because Albus Dumbledore was bound by a blood pact. Had that blood pact never broke; he would’ve won. No wizard or witch alive at that time could stand against him. In the second movie; Torquil Travers (current ministry head) had to personally ask Dumbledore in Hogwarts to fight in the war because no one else was skilled or powerful enough to stand against him. In the same second movie; the first scene was Gellert being transferred to Europe from the US magical prison, he managed to escape without even a scratch on him. Before that the head of MACUSA (us equivalent of the ministry) told the ministry rep that came for gellert that they had to change his guards because he kept corrupting them into serving him and they had to remove his tongue in the process as well as keep him magically sedated. Afterwards he manages to sway more people to his cause. The only mistake he had was allowing Newt Scamander’s niffler to get the blood pact from around his neck and also the mistake of wanting to kill Aurelius Dumbledore (aberforth’s bastard) when Albus was there to protect his nephew.
Voldemort himself couldn’t even figure out the prophecy about him, let alone kill a defenceless infant. He had could’ve just sent assassins or other people after the Potters and the whole ordeal would’ve been done. Says a lot about his skill. Dumbledore could’ve killed him had he not been also obsessed with having the prophecy fulfilled.

Leute geht’s euch gut??? Ich meine natürlich hat er recht damit das die Zauberer sich nicht verstecken sollten, niemand sollte sich verstecken müssen. Aber er möchte nicht nur das Wohl der Zaubergemeinschaft sondern auch das die Muggel entweder sterben oder die lästigen arbeiten übernehmen die die Zauberer nicht übernehmen sollen weil sie „dafür zu gut sind“
Und wer hört nicht gerne das er was besseres als die anderen ist? Wem schmeichelt es nicht, zu hören das mit der höheren klasse angehört. Dem „größeren Wohl“
Grindelwald kann Leute überzeugen, und das ist gefährlich. Er hat es selbst bei euch geschafft obwohl er nur fiktiv ist.
Genau das macht ihn so gefährlich. Genau das ist es was einen wirklich guten und gerissenen Bösewicht ausmacht. Und genau das könnte zu einem Krieg führen.
Ich denke das in den weiteren Filmen noch viele Leute sterben müssen.

Also, falls ihr Crimes of Grindelwald gesehen habt, was ich annehme, frage ich mich echt, ob ihr euch bewusst seid, was ihr da sagt. Ja, vor Crimes of Grindelwald oder als headcanon kann Grindelwald ein anderer Charakter sein, aber in diesem Film ist er eindeutig ein Mann, der selbst für die unwichtigsten Dinge über Leichen geht. Er hat es gutgeheissen, dass ein Kleinkind mehr oder weniger grundlos getötet wird und wenn euch das nicht zum Nachdenken bringt, weiss ich auch nicht. Klar, er ist fiktional und kann trotz allem ein gewisses Sex Appeal haben, aber das heisst ja noch nicht gleich, dass man sich ihm anschliessen würde, wenn man die Chance dazu hätte. Auch klar, dass ich euch nicht für einen Kommentar auf CZcams verurteile, aber ich möchte euch einfach bitten, im realen Leben über solche Dinge zu reflektieren und zu versuchen, Leute und ihre Maschen zu durchschauen. Kriecht Leuten wie Grindelwald (und ich bin mir bewusst, dass es die in diesem Ausmass zum Glück nicht wirklich häufig gibt) nicht auf den Leim und denkt selbst darüber nach, was ihr für richtig und was für falsch hält. Ich weiss, das klingt wahrscheinlich alles etwas übertrieben, aber wenn man sich gerade stark mit dem Thema Nationalsozialismus beschäftigt, ist man automatisch recht sensibilisiert bei solchen Themen und wünscht sich, dass andere ihr Gehirn und ihre Menschlichkeit einschalten. Es soll nicht vergessen gehen, dass so etwas nie wieder passieren darf.
