Notes:
- The Warp Reality Spell appears on the Army Roster, but it's a bug from the APP. Forgot to erase it.
- On Round 3 the active objectives were the horizontal ones on the centerline, not the ones indicates.

So cool to see a S2D list that isn't max Varanguard. Spire tyrants are such an underutilized unit
Totally agree. For 70 pts they are amazing. Two blocks of 10 chosen can be very effective. This was one of three games where I played 2x10 and they did a lot of work.
Totally agree, Varanguard are - in my opinion the best unit in the game, especially in a vacuum. Furies are a slept on unit I feel, solid objective grabbers.

That successful alpha strike with the Chosen really crippled the opponent. This report convinced me that BalKor really isn't all it's cracked up to be. Looking forward for 4th edition Battle Reports!

Something to remember: Your Sorcerer Lord has the mark of Slaanesh. it can't have the spell Warp Reality. Must have the mark of Tzeentch to have that spell
Hi! I know. The GW app has this bug that attributes that spell to all wizards, even the ones that are not Tzeentch. I forgot to take it out of the rooster. It's in the video notes 🙂
First thing - love the redesign of the screen, showing the battleround, how many CP and VP are happening, its a great little breakdown so thank you. The a arrows on screen to show which unit being spoke about was great to keep track as the overhead shot can occasionally get messy with all melee armies. And in this battle plan highlighting the objectives was useful to. The music is good too, not too distracting.
At about 15:30 there was obviously some decision making happening (and obviously thats fine) but it could be worth either speeding the video up at that point or having a cut maybe a quick cut to black with a small text summary to show what was happening. I didnt mind it but perhaps something to consider? (I dont make these so you're the subject matter expert here, so please dont take offence).
Love the bat rep though, i love Belakors "finest hour" included failing to cast a spell then getting his other one unbound 😂.

Great game all in all. Love seeing off meta lists. I enjoyed your summary at the end (the text) of how the game went but i imagine that saves a fair bit of effort.

On your comment: you're absolutely right. I should speed up decision making moments where we take a bit longer. Thankfully they are fewer than in the past as we get used to speeding up the game as a result of practice. I will try to minimize these moments in future reports.
On STD in general: i think they are in a very good spot, and the metawatches thankfully have not catched this trend so far! 😁

It's been great watching you develop the channel. It's so good and really enjoyable! The graphics are nice and clean, I like the start of the round, too - it makes me focus on what the scores are / battle tactics, etc.

Definitely, S2D are solid with loads of options. They make me think of stormcast for chaos, they have a unit for everything but varanguard are just amazing (as they should be with the lore). I hope things are going well at home!

Pretty dicey turn one lol. I would never play risky like that xD but very cool when everything comes together and works
I was presented with a difficult decision, try to go for the Nurgle general and two of his units trading them for a block of chosen, or lay back and wait. I tried to join in with the slaaneshi theridons but failed the charge with +2. It ended up being a good tradeoff though. What would have been your play for turn 1?
Thank you for the battle report, your layout have made progress. Nonetheless I miss The tactical analysis after every turn to get the insight of each player.
The Alpha strike from the chosen was predictable. The Nurgle deployment was too risky.
I'm curious to know the idea of including Epidemius on the list ?

Hi Fabien, thanks for the feedback. This BR had to be a bit more streamlined due to scheduling issues on my side. I do however want to get back to commenting on the plays so that people understand our decisions.
The game was a bit risky for both sides, but I think you're right, that first turn opportunity had to be seized by STD, as it eventually exchanged one unit for 3 or 4.
