They've been around for most of my life! 50 years in the business and they still sound like they have a monopoly on the future of pop music. I have trouble getting my head around their enormous influence, even subliminally upon World music, more than any other band, simply incredible!
I remember when Kim Deal from the pixies said "see you at the kraftwerk tent" after they finished their set. I ran. So fortunate I got to witness this.
I saw them live in Manchester in 1975. They used drumsticks with wires on then, banging on electric drum panels, no screens at that time. Still brilliant.

Pure and utter absolutely genius. Almost all music being made today owes a great debt to Kraftwerk, whether the artists know it or not (and I think most of them do).
I saw them live like 10 years ago .. the show was great, and the sound ... wow it was freakin amazing .. so powerful, clean, dynamic .. my chest was pounding like a drum skin, my bones were shaking, crazy sensation .. you can hear it in this video, the sound is incredibly clean .. but when you experience it for real, trust me, that is something else ..

I've been looking for this musical piece forever and finally found it from searching all the way back in the beginning of electro from this group in the 1970s WOW! This was at hit played at club graffiti at six flags over Georgia.
I love how Kraftwerk inspired hip hop... and then at 2:00, you can hear hip hop passing back some influence to the source, as that's essentially some "digital scratching" going on.
Absolutely utterly phenomenological performance from as far as I'm concerned the true innovators of synth music the legends that are KRAFTWERK utterly amazing music from start to finish you can see every band member getting into the music this is a band at the top of there game many other bands have tried and failed to emulate them no where even close
