It’s my little boy standing at the door (and I called for my mother) and (ahead of the game) lyrics and I can honestly say we feel so privileged to be part of this powerful and poignant song. Brought tears to my eyes. Amazing!

Tommy knows how to make a guitar sound sad. Did it in Bismarck, too. Well, Sabaton doesn't 'take sides' in that they didn't favor the British or the Germans or the Russians, or whoever. They took the side of the soldiers, not any particular nation's soldiers. Clearer in the other video. Also, this was a British production, probably because they're covering a Motorhead song.
Lemmy (R.I.P) is the one to earn credit for the lyrics, among the best I've heard!!🤘 But in my opinion Sabaton did the song more justice than the original. Joakim's voice was perfect for this. And yes, this song is one of those that make one cry!😢. You've got to watch the music video whenever you can (reaction or not). It will blow your mind!

Yes, this is a real wake-up call! I think this is probably the best one Sabaton has done. It is a cover for Motorhead that's why you see them in the video, great reaction. I think you're the first one to react to it, but as someone else said you need to see the official video.

The album 1916 by Motorhead was released in 1991 .
The original goes even deeper than this. It sounds like a funeral march.
As some other people have said, I think that Sabaton definetly takes sides. Side of Soldiers.
