If I have to tell the truth, it's my favourite city in the world. I was there like 2 weeks ago and I had so much fun. I like how everything is relaxed and people aren't in much of a rush when they are at work when I see people working. There are never traffic problems, theres many fun things to do like the Gondola and Punting, I like how many buildings are starting to look futuristic. It's really developed, modernised and improved since the tragic earthquake. After going there, it felt like so much better, cleaner and more friendly place then my own city Melbourne and a place that I would rather live for many reasons. I think it's one of the most underrated cities in the entire world.
I also feel like I have a connection with the city because the reason why I was there was for my Uncle's wedding and his wife's family are all from New Zealand, mainly Christchurch, so thats why I went there from Australia and now that I have family in Christchurch I feel like I have more of a connection to this place and that I should come here every now and then.
I went there once in 2010, 2 months before the earthquake, but I was 4 and remember nothing and it is so sad looking at photos from that trip knowing that 33% of the buildings back then are demolished, and especially seeing a photo of the cathedral before it was destroyed. When I came back a few weeks ago, it was pretty much like a different city, and it's the city that I have spent the longest amount of time in other than Melbourne where I live. This definitely won't be the last time I will be going to Christchurch. (Apologies for the long comment, just felt like I should share my story and experiences that I have with this city 😂)
Good to see ChCh gradually getting restored after the devastating earthquakes. I lived there for a few years in the late eighties, beautiful city, surrounded by sea and views of the Southern Alps. Thinking of moving back to Canterbury or Marlborough in a couple of years time to retire after 25 years in Perth Australia. Thanks for the update.
Christchurch is absolutely stunning
Je vais visiter c'est l'un de mes plus grands rêve.
Went to christchurch and nearby cities in southern island. It has been like 15years since i visited there. Still i remember there as very very beautiful city! Wanna travel there again
I'll be going to Christchurch for my new course next year, I cannot wait to be there.

Yes, it's a really beautiful place!
Really nice video - my reference for my upcoming trip there :)
Cool, thanks! 😊
It is so nice to see such a beautiful presentation of the city. Thank you! For the years I live here I keep finding places that amuse me. There is so much to discover. And the all four seasons add their dimension to the familiar landscapes.
Yes!! Always new (and fun!) stuff popping up!
You look so pretty in this outfit. I hope you're enjoying and having fun in NZ. Loads of love
Thank you so much! That's so kind of you.
I am from Texas and visiting at the moment. I been here for 2 months. I love it and the people.
That's fantastic! How are you finding it compares to Texas?
You better love muslims
@@thisunchartedworld different vibe different taste but I can adapt. Plan on coming back in December. Hope to live in Christchurch. I have a fiancée waiting for me there.
@@Brando-wc8fz I love people In general.
Where do you pass and go? By passific ocean or by right❤
Christchurch is awesome. Your origin will make a huge impact on your opinion though.
I love Christchurch but for me from Canada the cost of living was high and salaries were low. Not everyone will feel the same but for me my opportunities and pay were much less.
Id move here in a heartbeat but id need to be coming from money or highly educated.
nice video
I love New Zealand and it's cities.... New Zealand peace loving happiest country ❤️❤️
It's a very beautiful city. I'd like you to show me more places. if possible, I'd like you to go to the gondola again. It will help someone to reduce the fear of heights. It would be nice to introduce local food or Māori food too.
We're so glad you enjoyed the video! This is our last one from New Zealand but we'll definitely show it again when we next go back home!
Lmao the amount of times I saw something in this video and was like I’ve been high there is to scary
I will be in Auckland February 13
Wait, this is the city I live in!
Ahh, that's why my ex liked the hot house, they grew up just north of Bangkok
im still in highschool but i hope to someday do an exchange program in new zealand, and christchurch is my first option on where to go :)
How exciting!
the gondolas stop to let elderly or disabled people on, it's completely normal and happens all the time
Goes to new Zealand... can you conjure me a man lmao... wizard walks away
When u will upload next vlog
It’s coming soon! 😊
The cigarette prices there are insane
That's the idea, the government keeps adding tax to encourage people to stop. My mother a heavy smoker died from lung cancer at 58, I remember the cancer specialist seemed very cold and unsympathetic, years later I realised why.
@@Battleneter sorry to hear that bro...i understand a bit more about it now, thanks...im heading back there in a few days for aviation trainings so i hope it makes me stop😅
you can see the exact same history that was destroyed, in England. Because its the exact same stuff.
