    I love Allstitch stabilizer...one thing...preshrink it before use. Try steaming a small piece...say 6x6" scrap...iron with steam iron on medium (polyester) setting.. you will see it "pucker" a little bit...measure it...your square will be about 5 7/8" ... can be an issue
    Other than that I love it. I use on sport shirts that are dry weave... funky feeling & thinner...works great

    Hi Angela! Was very happy to see this video today, the machine is a monster! lol I mean that in a good way. I noticed that you did not do a trace before you started to embroider the design? I know you used the 8x9 mighty hoop, how do you know that the embroidery foot is not going to hit the sides of the hoop before you start to embroider? I have tried to figure my hoops and it seems I can't get the "sweet" spot no matter how I try. My machine is different than yours and I also understand that. Any tips and tricks to share?

    • @AngelaJasmina
      @AngelaJasmina  Před 4 lety

    Hey Angela, I was going through withdrawal! Glad to see another video. I have 2 questions for you. The next time you talk to Todd, can you ask him if Melco has any intentions of introducing Mac software? Even though I know I can run Windows on my Macs, I HATE WINDOWS! Second question- the unicorn design did slightly overlap the number “2.” How come you didn’t delete the satin stitch from the “2” where there was the overlap? Can the Melco software do that? Your shirt does look great, but I’ve seen other people’s results where the appliqué fabric on the top element was too thin and/or too light, and you can see the stitching underneath.

    • @AngelaJasmina
      @AngelaJasmina  Před 4 lety

      Hi! I can definitely ask him! I saved this design from my embrilliance software and it takes out overlapping stitches! So when I put it in Melcos software I just changed the colors and Uploaded it !

    Okay, you got me with the cuteness, lol. Came for the embriodery, and got bonus smiles. You have a lovely family :-) Thanks for doing these videos, they're really helpful, and I know it must be challenging to run your business, this channel and your household, but you're slaying it.
    So, I'm about to purchase the Melco EMT16 lX, so I have to change my digitizing software from Floriani Total Control U, to the Design Shop 11 for Melco, and I'm REALLY nervous. Does anyone know if I can convert all of my JEF format embroidery designs to the OFM Melco format? We are talking A LOT of amazing designs, many of which I haven't even gotten to use yet. However, my Janome Mbs-4 and it's sister the Elna are nothing more than expensive paper weights at this point, so there is no way in hell I'm buying another one of them just to save several hundred designs (though it's definitely tempting). If anyone knows if I can save them, please let me know. Also, if anyone has the Melco, and has any advice or opinions, I'm definitely open to hearing them. Thanks so much, and thank you for your channel!
