I don't know about that but I think M.A.S.H. got worse when Alda started directing episodes. He forgot it was a sitcom and made stuff too serious. ETA, I posted before I watched the video so when the narrator said "until it ceased being humorous" I thought that was funny.

I enjoyed seasons 1-4 then it nose dived badly to become the Alan Alda show.
Focusing on one character wrecked it and McLean Stevenson left for far better money.
He had domestic issues to sort out and the money did that.

But you don't know that, you're speculating while assuming that if you dislike aspects about Alan Alda then certainly the cast and crew did ass well...which is fallacious thinking on your part...and since the show went on for 11 years and left the air waves on its own, I'm guessing there weren't too many unhappy people on the show, past or present.
Seems to me that just about everyone in the show did just fine for themselves, and isn't it amazing that despite the several cast changes, the one constant, Alan Alda, remained and the show kept moving forward...that says a lot about his talent and what the general viewing public thought about M*A*S*H at that time.

It's just a click-bait title. It's all made up or recycled stories about the show and the people who worked on it that you can read elsewhere. Nothing new here. Nothing to see, move along. (most egotistical actors "hate" anyone else who might also be talented and get attention. Everyone can see that Alan Alda is a great character actor , especially in this role as Hawkeye Pierce, but a nice person he isn't. Don't make the mistake of confusing the actor with the roles they play. Some actors who specialize in playing bad guys, thugs, killers are actually the nicest people you'd ever want to meet , and conversely some who play the leads and are presented on screen as the "good guy" are in reality jerks or worse ... the insecurities that drive some actors to be in the spotlight , to be the center of attention , is what makes them "stars" , but it's also a neurosis that causes very toxic behavior in real life.)
