- Carrie and I went on a guided cave tour at Horne Lake Caves near Qualicum Beach, BC on Vancouver Island. We go on the Multi-Cave Experience exploring Riverbend and Main Caves. We have an awesome time discovering ancient calcite formations and fossils in the upper Riverbend cave. We then face our fears in the Main cave by doing a 3 tier waterfall climb, squeeze our way through rock formations, climb down ladders and experience Canada's longest cave slide. Our guide Erin is so knowledgeable and we learn so much about the formation of caves, as well as creatures in the underground world. We have a really fun day and enjoy meeting new people along the way. I highly recommend a cave tour at Horne Lake caves. www.hornelake.com

Excellent Excellent Job Judy!! It was just like watching a show on the Discovery Channel. I’m so glad you did this so I could see inside. I was there years ago when there where no gates or stairs. Great video! Wouldn’t want to be claustrophobic! 😬 The only cave we’ve toured was many years ago, Ruby Falls in Tennessee and it was a little roomier!

It's not too far. I think it says on their website? As long as you don't have mobility issues, you could do it! It's a beautiful forest there. Thanks for watching 😀
