The closer it gets to JHope leaving, I become a bigger fan, as if that's even possible. Also I hope fans will also give a listen to J Cole's music. You can find out why he's Hobi's muse. He's so underrated, even as a producer. I'm already missing Hobi but like he said he'll be back sooner if he leaves now. Stream.

I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve listened to this song now. And each time it nestles itself even deeper in my heart if that were possible. Hobi and J.Cole absolutely knocked it out of the park. I feel like it’s was a dream collaboration where sincerity and warmth shines through. It’s filled with genuine and thoughtful lyrics from both sides. It’s style and substance. I love the melody and the rap so much. Considering Hobi came up with so many great pockets of melodies in BTS songs, like DNA etc, it seems fitting that this should be the same. Also I recommend Hobi’s print interview excerpts from Variety. It has lots of details about the song, like how the melody came about from him whistling etc. What he wanted to convey with the song, like warmth in winter etc. As well as his Weverse live from the streets. He shared some really sweet behind the scenes about how J.Cole and him are in touch now etc. Also funfact, the alley this was shot in was the same one from the MV of J.Cole’s 2007 song ‘Simba’. The details and respect from both is just so heartwarming. Shiki I feel and share your emotions, especially when it come to them going off to the military. The need to even have to do that etc. My only consolation is Hobi’s words from his wlive after the announcement. Sooner he goes the sooner he comes back. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

What I saw from this mv aside from Jhope bidding farewell (for now) to ARMY, was him paying homage to J Cole by heading back to the street (where it all began for him) to dance while his idol was spitting fire on his own song. 🔥🔥

There is this part in which you say: "I wish we lived in a world where there wasn't need for war, we didn't need military, you know how nice would that be?"
And it's true, we all wish the world would be a peaceful place. But since it isn't and there is war, we can be thankful for the military and all the brave men & women out there serving & following their duty all around the world.
Even if I wish they didn't have to go, I am so proud that they do and even if it's hard to let them go, I am glad that it's true cause - if they didn't have to go to military...they wouldn't be forced to take a long needed break. Of course its not a vacation, but they do get to catch their breath and have well deserved & overdue personal time out now before enlisting. I believe in fate and this moment came with fate for them to reflect, recover and rediscover themselves.
Imagine they didn't have to go - they were at their peak, but they were exhausted & overworked. They would be given no opportunity to do all that and be forced to deliver good music contiuously. Maybe they would have struggled until it would break them. Maybe BTS would have made it for another year and then finished their career on a bad note, because their creativity would lack...
That's why, even if it's a difficult time, I'm thankful it came. In a weird way it saved them, as people & as BTS. They wanna come back. The timing was perfect. They'll be fine 💜
