Best Water Filter for your boat? Product review on the Camco Water Filter

This week, on my Island Packet 320 - Southern Star - I will be doing a product review of the Camco Water Filter. I use this water filter to remove bad taste, sediment, chlorine and odors on my Island Packet. If you add city water (from the tap) directly to your tank, you need a water filter. The filter should be at the boat end of the hose - not the dock end.

But your hose will naturally have a high likelihood of developing it’s on contaminants - Sloughing of the hose interior, bacteria growth perhaps and anything in the hose will not be filtered out when entering the freshwater tank.
