- Had an amazing chase of the Bee.. #NS1067 the Reading Norfolk Southern heritage unit.. hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Since the 1820s, hundreds of railroad companies were built, merged, reorganized, and consolidated into what eventually became Norfolk Southern, itself created from the consolidation of Southern Railway and Norfolk and Western Railway in 1982. In 1999, Norfolk Southern acquired a portion of Conrail. The Heritage Locomotives represent railroads that played significant roles in Norfolk Southern’s history. The first unit, Conrail 8098, rolled out of Altoona, Pa., March 15, and the final one, Lackawanna 1074, rolled out of Muncie, Ind., on June 27.

Great grab on the Bee Line Service unit. Plus you snagged an NS leading and a BNSF on there too. Loved the shot across the field while pacing. Awesome video bro.!!
Yeah a little bit of everything on this one.. would of been cool if the Bee was leading but still got it.. I like the field pace as well. Glad you enjoyed it. Appreciate you watching.

Saludos hermosas locomotoras
Thank you for watching
I think that Bee Line unit got refurbished recently, it was looking pretty haggard there for awhile. Cool seeing it with a pumpkin 🎃. How many NS units do you have left to see now?
I think your right Eddie, just recently out of the shop.. I only have 2 left to catch, but I would like to catch the Wabash again. I only seen it sitting in the yard at dark. So not a very good catch. You can see it in my heritage play list.. appreciate you watching. Hope your weekend is good
👍👍
Thank you Tom. Was a fun chase..
BNSF was looking awesome. Remember? I live in a town along the Transcontinental RR. Lots of BNSF crews in this town. Actually Clovis is a BNSF terminal.
🤣🤣 for sure Tom you'd be loving the pumpkin.. a few years back that was unheard of over here.. I remember the first time I seen one this far over. I had to ask people how and why was it on a NS line, but now it's such a regular thing. And of coarse I understand why now.. but seeing a heritage unit feels as strange as the first pumpkin I seen.. 🤣🤣
Another ticked off your list Great you can catch the train up a few times too.
Thanks, yeah only 2 more to go.. wasn't sure I was going to be able to get it a few more times like that. He was moving pretty quickly, and I was in an area that I did not know. So didn't know the tracks or the roads to run it down. But it all worked out.. glad you enjoyed it.. thanks for watching
@@TriGogglin It was going pretty fast, your freights often look a lot slower than ours. I reckon he was going 40 to 45mph when you got the shot from the car.
Not sure of the speed limit for them in that area, I believe restricted at about 50/ 55 but definitely don't know. But I do know I was speeding trying to get ahead of it.. 🤣🤣🤣
@@TriGogglin Tut tut LOL. Glad you did not get a ticket. That made a great bit of video racing alongside. Can't really compare our trains being so much shorter and lighter but ours can run up to 75mph and max length around 1/2 mile, and no double stacks over here either.
1/2 mile wow, those are short. Some of ours almost 2 miles long. Sucks if your in a hurry at a crossing 🤣🤣
nice 067 and pumpkin
Thanks Dwight, so glad you enjoyed it, always appreciate you watching
