Alright thanks, my frame was wore down from years of riding and I tried painting it and after one ride it was wearing off so I'm going to put some frame grips on
@@drzhunter6958 I gotcha, LS4Fibers makes some good frame guards for the ltz’s. If you want something cheap I did some grip tape on mine and it held up pretty good for a while.
Well it always depends how where you ride and how you ride. On a yfz you are gonna be faster thru the trails and they are more fun to ride in my opinion, but the raptors are a bit more versatile and rider friendly you can fit through tighter trails on them and they don’t need to be revved out all the time to feel like ur riding it correctly. There also better for longer rides and I feel are more reliable. So if you ride like me then I’d go with the raptor, you can go just as fast as a 450 if ur good enough and you don’t have to push it all the time.
@@offthetrails617 it is true, it’s possible but they do suck at drifting, only time you really can is when it’s wet. Even then a 450 can always out drift a raptor even when it’s completely dry.

when riding hard like this do you use the clutch to shift?
You don’t really need to use it when your giving it full power it’ll just slow you down only use it when you down shift into corners
