Население Израиля растет быстрее, но и Корею, и Голландию, мы догоним в лучшем случае лет через десять.
Наверняка найдутся те, кто скажет, что сравнение некорректно, потому что большая часть населения Израиля сосредоточена в центре страны. Это утверждение верно лишь отчасти, потому что только на юге Израиля есть большие незаселенные территории. Что же касается перенаселенности, то о ней условно можно говорить только применительно к району Гуш-Дан, Иерусалиму и Хайфе, включая пригороды.
Но так обстоят дела и в других странах, в том числе у наших соседей. Самый наглядный пример - Египет, где концентрация жителей в мегаполисе Каире значительно выше, чем в Израиле, хотя плотность населения в Египте в целом намного ниже, чем здесь.
Вообще, если рассмотреть данные по городам, то легко обнаружить, что израильские города заселены менее плотно не только, чем Каир, Бейрут и Амман, но и чем, к примеру, Сеул и Нью-Йорк: в 2020 году плотность населения в Нью-Йорке составляла 11 243 человека на квадратный километр, что почти в два с половиной раза больше, чем в Тель-Авиве (4950).
И это не исключения. Плотность населения в крупных израильских городах меньше, чем в Париже, Мадриде и Афинах, а плотность населения в Гуш-Дане примерно такая же, как в Большом Лондоне. И опять же - Сеул, столица Южной Кореи. Его площадь в четыре раза больше площади Иерусалима, а население - в 14 раз.
При всем том надо признать, что плотность населения в Израиле выше, чем почти в 90% стран, и продолжает расти. Это означает, что со временем , через 30 лет, израильские города в этом плане все меньше будут напоминать европейские и все больше - Нью-Йорк и Стамбул.
Так что, все хорошо? Увы, нет. Высокой плотности населения сопутствуют дорожные пробки, на которые все чаще жалуются израильтяне. С одной стороны, в Израиле количество транспортных средств на душу населения по сравнению с другими странами относительно невелико (хотя и неуклонно растет). С другой стороны, плотность движения легковых автомобилей в Израиле в три раза выше, чем в среднем по ОЭСР, и среди прочего в два с половиной раза выше, чем в Нидерландах, где плотность населения превышает израильскую. Стоимость пробок для израильской экономики эквивалентно 2% ВВП, что вдвое больше, чем в среднем в ОЭСР. И это без учета ущерба окружающей среде и здоровью людей, который оценивается еще в 2% от ВВП.
Некоторые исследователи утверждают, что ввиду продолжающегося роста населения длина израильских дорог к 2050 году увеличится на 30%. As a guest in India, I have noticed that nation is often plagued with malgovernance. While I have already stated key reasons, such as the BAR Council monopolization of the courts,co-mingling of powers between the legislative and "executive" branch,and of course party elite domination, there is obviously another key reason: Unicameral legislature.
Indian politicians have too much power, plain and simple. At one time, when India was highly impoverished and illiterate, that power may have been necessary but certainly not now as the 3rd decade of the 21st century is virtually here.
There needs to be more elected people involved in the political process who will serve as a counterweight to each other. On the central level, there should be as a separate house other than the current one(Lok Sabha) comprised of three elected officials that represent the entire state.
At the state level, each of its districts generally has 7-10 constituencies that are represented by members of the legislative assembly. There needs to be a separate "house" that has 2-3 elected people who represent the entire district.
More elected officials in the lawmaking process means power is diluted and it enhances checks and balances.

Dear Sunil - your videos are really very educative and I am sure they must be enlightening all those watching them. in this video, you mentioned the importance of our vote, which I agree with. However, what should a person do if he has no voter ID card or his name doesn't appear in the voting list? Every election, whether state or central, we see thousands or maybe lakhs of legal citizens unable to vote which is their birthright, just because of some governmental inefficiency their names are not appearing in voter list. For namesake, governments give an option of websites to register names in the list, but nothing happens to this inefficient system. If possible plz make a video on this issue. It might appear irrelevant or insignificant but it is quite big considering the scale in which it exists. Thanks
You have to apply for your voters ID and get it even if you don't have the voters ID then you can vote online

You missed MLC election in State Assembly and One more thing a Prime Minister can be either a member of Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha keeping in mind his party or alliance's majority in Lok Sabha.
Also same in the case of Chief Minister. He can either be a MLA or MLC to be eligible to become a Chief Minister keeping in mind the majority of his party of alliance in Vidha Sabha.
The best example I can give you is Uddhav Thakrey as CM of Maharastra government he didn't contested MLA election but is now a Chief Minister because of the majority of their party's alliance with Congress and NCP.
Also one more point he can be a Chief Minister for maximum six months after that he needs to compulsorily contest and have to win MLC election which he successfully won and now a CM for next 5 years.

@@luffyy8194 Try reading important government bills from the Gazette of India. Also incorporate a habit of reading 2 newspapers daily.
Try to connect with some individuals that are in bureaucracy, law and any related field that are directly associated with the government and whenever got a chance discuss about new laws, resolutions and bills.
I have been doing this from a very young age of 5. For me being from a family of government employees and politicians also helped a lot.
