Love this video and the insight that you provide...keep 'em coming. I've just pulled out all of my CSG 9.5's that seem a little off centered. I'm going to pull a few and send them into to Got Baseball Cards for screening and group subbing and see how I do. An experiment of sorts.

nice sub! Csg sticks to there scale religiously its consistent it may seem leniant on some vintage but its how they grade vintage, psa vintage sometimes they drop a grade just cause its old and the card has no flaws, Csg grades the card not the year.. that gretzky n roger stauback look like 9's they're super sharp 🔥

You are right about the 1962 Topps Tarkenton, he is not in the action shot. It's believed to be Y.A. Tittle. Tittle wore the number 14 but I suppose they airbrushed the number.

I guess whats great about csg from what i see in youtube videos is that they dont have qualifiers next to the grade like psa does. Cuz i believe a psa qualifier knocks the grade down by 2. So if u had a psa 8 (oc) the card is really a 6.

I've watched alot of videos on grading and csg seem to give better grades than PSA by 1-2 grades in my submissions any way
I agree, especially on vintage. I think the grade gap is a bit closer on modern!

You make a good point, I only TRUST SGC to get it right, CSG seems good too, but I don’t work for a TPG, so I definitely do not KNOW.

Csg needs to lower their prices even a bit more. Sgc is garbage at 30 bucks. Everyone flooding to psa at 22 since they have solid return times now. Csg should be 10 to 12 bucks.
Agreed, they should stay at $12/
