When I was a baby witch (1996), I decided to write a spell to see if I could do it. It was actually more a ritual spell but that's neither here nor there. I settled on a love spell because I felt as a gay man in the Navy that I was never going to find anybody. It was directed at anybody in particular but more focused on traits that I was looking for. I threw in all the love correspondences I could find without bogging the spell down. In the end, I was quite happy with what I had written. I NEVER PERFORMED THE SPELL but a week later, I ran across a guy who matched quite a few of those traits I had envisioned when writing it. The relationship only lasted a few months but then another guy made an appearance and he matched even more of the traits I had visualized. This relationship was even shorter but that was mostly due to being kicked out of the Navy under Don't Ask, Don't Tell. Months later, another guy came into my life and he was a closer match than the previous 2. We became a couple on 8/27/1997 and we were married on 8/29/2008. Love Spells work...sometimes without even performing the spell.

Huh, I never thought of a self love spell, that's actually really nice to try out!
My first ever candle magic spell was love based, and it got me the boyfriend I now have for a year and a half. I actually never really focused the spell on him (through I admit I thought of him as an option), but I lit a love candle with the focus on love opportunities; I didn't want anyone to fall in love with me because of a spell, but I wanted to create the opportunity to maybe meet someone, or get to know someone better. Anyway, a couple of days after that candle my now boyfriend suddenly asked if I'd mind if he joined me for a swim after a martial arts training, and for the first time in the years I knew him (we'd been training martial arts together for 2 years) we actually get to know each other.
It's the best relationship I've ever had, and he's super sweet and we're just so comfortable with each other, I'm so happy being with him :)

I did a very similar thing! I am also very happy and would reccomend doing a spell to open myself up to the opportunities that would bring love. Very specifically I made a candle and carved in sigils and symbols that were coming up in a tarot reading.

Hi, someone who has stupidly done a love spell on a guy here
I met this guy when i was visiting a town and had a little crush on him, and even though he had previously stated multiple times that hes only into girls i was still like "oK BUT WHAT IF"
So when i came back into my town i instantly started working on a love spell to make him think of me more, and i swear to god, 4 months later, he started texting me and trying to get me to be interested in him(context in which i had gotten over him), and the more our conversation progressed the more he started getting more inappropriate. I obviously denied and did a reverse spell the following day. Some time later i got word that he had been really toxic to some of his love interests.

I actually dif situation.... used a love spell on my SO while we were going through a rough patch and we were engaged. I thought if only this will work.... it did. But his fam hates me and he is struggeling with very nazi-esque upbringing ( im a foreigner) has made me second guess even after 6 years of semi-very-commited relationship. I'm sure there are some spells to help unearth the truth which could help you see the situation for what it is. i accidentally cast a love spell long before i knew this was a thing. it was just a weird intuitive thing i did and it worked. perfectly. it just wasn't what i wanted and i got *terrified* of spells (particularly the power of fire) coz i thought it 'went wrong' when it got bad - kinda didn't realize i got what i wanted. tough lesson, but a valuable one. just make sure you're doing this with a certain level of maturity!

The way I think about it, is its both good and bad it all depends on your perspective. Also balance, I'm a big believer in balance. So to me there is good and bad just depends on perspective and the intention. Love your videos so much. This is just my opinion or (perspective).

I had done this BBMBF love spell for a friend of mine, on a full moon friday the flame kept going out, the 3rd and last time (3 strikes rule) I lit it and it stayed lit for the duration of the weekend. Monday I explained to her the situation and it turned out she saw her ex but no longer felt an attraction to him, however later around 1:59 am (same time I lit candle for the last time and it stayed lit) she met another guy they hit it off. So some times what you think was meant to be, turns out you were meant for someone else. I am not saying don’t do the spell, just put it out there your searching for love, maybe if it’s meant to be the person will come back or you find a better person. Let things go and take there course! Anyone casting spells for particular person, be very careful. Watch the movie The Craft and you will see what I mean. Pink candles are love, Red is passion, so important to know the difference.
I agree on being careful about love casting on the other person. I actually accidentally cast a love spell on my current boyfriend that I deeply regretted; I was writing my love affirmations and saw my leg was bleeding due to a scratch, i gingerly added a little blood to the affirmations while my mind is naturally thinking of my crush. We ended up talking and got together after a month. It became an obsession to have him around and I went through lots of emotional turmoil and insecurities when he started to prioritise his friends before me. Thankfully he wasn’t toxic in any way, just that we are seemingly incompatible as his daily extroversion is affecting me. We are still together and still trying to work things out even after 1.5 years together. Casting a love spell also means casting on oneself. So yes, we gotta be careful. 🙏🏻 As i lost myself in this relationship, I am finding back myself again with more self love and knowing my worth ❤️

I just talked with my mum about her try to get back to my biological father. It was super interesting to hear what ritual she did and why she failed. But thinking of it now, we're both happy that this spell failed.

Another "ethical" alternative one of my mentors always suggests when it comes to love magick (if you don't want to cast spells on specific people), is casting for someone you've yet to know to appear in your life. You can also be descriptive in your statement of intent and to a certain degree influence what kind of person it could be.

There's another spell I know to several a love end. Using two candles that are bound by the same string and you light the middle of the string but both candles have to have your name on one and the person you no longer want to love on the other

On a related note, I was watching a witchy show on Netflix recently. They talked about cord cutting actually. There were two candles with the wicks connected. The young girl, a witch, used a sharp tool and engraved her name on one candle, then the boys she was in love with on the other one. She etched a couple of sigils, and her intentions on each candle, said out loud her intentions as well, then lit the wick in the middle. I really liked this method as I do a lot of candle magic and create sigils. Seems simple, yet effective. Anyway, thank you again for your time and sharing of knowledge. Blessed Be sister!

I just realized that my love spell worked by the time I would comment that it didn’t kkkkkk OMG... I did a spell using a petition and describing my ideal partner and performed the ritual to attract this person that would match. Actually he came, but I guess I wasn’t too specific about how it should have happened since he was married to a guy in an open relationship and he couldn’t understand why he wanted me so bad... at the end he dumped me by text and last time I saw them both he sad “hi” from the distance and looked at me like I was no one special... next spell will definitely be a self love spell, no more guys kkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

I will politely disagree with not being able to force someone, you most definitely can.
With the craft, for example, he is already sexually interested in her and her inexperience with relationships causes a bad reaction to the manifestation spell. Since he doesn't care about her it just pushes his labedo and he breaks a taboo.
I have had experience also with love Magick Manipulation. If used with gaslighting you can very well have an unwilling slave; someone who is aware of how much they hate you but can't break themselves away from you.
You state that the intention was already there with Chris in The Craft, and that causes for bad reaction with the spell work. His intentions, however, from the start was not to be with her in a healthy way but only in a sexual way, so the spell work magnified that, but it wasn't that he was completely uninterested to begin with.
Now gaslighting along with magic - Magic used along with emotional abuse is awful, but it happens, unfortunately, and emotional abuse alone without the use of magic is still very powerful. Emotional abuse is much more complex than what I'm describing in the video. What I was talking about was that if I had no intention of being with someone in the first place, no one can force me to be with that person against my will using magic alone.

Love magic...that's a great topic, seriously there's a lot of stuff out there about love magic...frankly it's kinda overwhelming sometimes to keep a track of all that....different methods and stuff..although I do have a question ..is there a spell to understand what our loved ones are thinking?? sometimes tarot cards are a little vague and it becomes a little difficult to pin point certain things??

Olivia, what is your take on cord cutting for an abusive ex that still causes you PTSD and all that aftermath yet you still have reminders of him? Ex: my 2 older sons. I guess I'd be weary of it affecting my relationship with them or hell, even my love.
I guess best to say, they don't see or remember him and my husband adopted them before we got married 3 years ago
Take on cord cutting as in, if you did it, what would the effects be? If I'm understanding your question correctly, then I'd say I'd go for a full ritual cord cutting. See if you can do it on a dark moon, if you're able(and they are open to it) maybe your sons can participate. However, with something this traumatizing I'd highly suggest therapy too, since cord cutting can help a lot, but therapy is going to get you the most results over a long period of time. Best of luck

Same here. Black isn't always about people. It's the color black, like my wolf profile. The color black considered to represent evil, mystery or like you said, darkness.
She doesn't mean it has racial connotations just because of the word "black". Often times what people consider to be "black" magic are rituals, spells, etc that are rooted in Afro-Caribbean magic and traditions. Associating that with evil or darkness is what makes the term "dark" magic racist. I think she goes into it a little deeper in a different video.

@@underdog9475 Depends. If they know *about* you they might be drawn to something like your instagram page or something, but if they have no clue who you are, nothing would likely happen being that there are no energies to link you two together.

i hate doing spells on other people or even doing tarot readings for other people because 1) i feel like my energy can effect someones reading A LOT and 2) last time i tried to do a healing spell for someone and it fucked up horribly :( i wanna start doing cute little charms for my friends but i dont wanna make anything worse for them. does anyone have any opinions on what i can do to feel more confident with doing magick for others??
