Dj Quick is an Absolute Legend i remembe way back summer of 1994 i was 16½ had just got my Driver's License & my 1st car a 1986 HONDA CR-X one of the 1st cassette's i bought was Dj the Way 2 Fonky Album i wore that cassette tape out bumping that in my Blaupunkt Pull out stereo hooked up to my Mtx Kicker with 15 inch speakers & some cheap amplifier. some of the best memories that summer.

Dollaz & Sense is honestly one of the Greatest Diss Records of ALl Time. Ended the beef. And performing it infront of EIHT at teh Legendary Source Awards was the Nail in the coffin. Still love Eiht though, Quik is a musical Genius.

Quik never signed with Death Row. Quik worked with Death Row as a producer and Suge was his manager so he was affiliated but never officially signed to death row

His acting career was also able to help to catapult his character status while Quik continued to work behind the scenes as a tier 1 producer in the industry. So it’s the most revealing and 180 degree beef we might’ve ever seen from two street dudes emerging from the shady 80s and dangerous 90s era. It’s actually a testament to the faith both cats had for themselves and as we now see; for one another. It’s actually inspiring and trailblazing

Man I remember this beef, I was a kid tho so all the details didn’t really connect at first but once I got older and understood more shit I knew this was gon go down as legendary. I was more of a eiht fan than quik but quik grew on me as I got older and I used alot of his tone and somewhat style on my music that I would eventually end up making. Two mfn legends in my book and they shit still in rotation til this day!
