This will lead to such a chaos that I would repent abt it for the rest of my life . I would be taunted very now and then that I always try toh prove them wrong etc. I really don't have the courage to show anything to them .. cuz I know that won't understand. People say every Indian house hold is like this.. No its not, I face the same problem every single day but my friends parents are so sweet and humble. When im in call with my friend I have to mute my microphone everytime I hear my mothers footsteps because I always know what she says. But my friend freely speaks with her mom and always shares everything with her when i cannot because my mom will never understand what Im going throught. Sometimes I wish I had a better mom.

In this video, her aunt was supportive and understood her real problem. But in real life, we children(especially me in such case)are not able to convey or tell our feelings to anyone, fearing that this will create problems between them. I would like to share a personal incident with you all guys that when l was 7-8 years old, there was a huge fight between my parents, which l had told my Nani and Masi about when l stayed there for a week. When l came back home, both my parents were so furious about me telling about the house things to anyone. I know that there is an other perspective too but the trauma and the fear l was been under when they fight had weaken me too much that l had to open up on front of my relatives.
But now l can't dare to talk about my feelings to any relative fearing that it will cause another havoc in my house. There's many things that both parents and child suffer but it's not right that they blame us only for all the problems thay had....

One day i won 3 gold medals in a district championship and i came to my home wearing all those medals and when i showed those medals to my mom she shouted at me just because everyone was looking at me outside. One day i just got passing marks in maths exam and she beat me in such a way that my front tooth was broken now i am 22 and living my life with that broken tooth . One day she pushed me and my head was bleeding many things happened but when i try to talk to my parents they start their emotional blackmailing it just destroys sometimes it just feels like i should die. I don't have friends to share these things.

Now Guess what happened, did they realise their mistake? No. They made fun of me and mocked me... they told me the same line... giving everything u need why are u feeling depressed...and all...since then I haven't been the same...I lost all of my hope in them ..nd then I got a good friend after yrs of no friendship...then they said I changed. My attitude is different now...I stood up for myself is the change they don't want to accept.

Us moment,every time they criticize me for what I do. They scold me, taunts me, and show me that how much they have done for me, they always say I have spent this much on you, and then still you are not happy, and I was like I don't want all these from you to be happy, I just want emotional support and want you to keep me emotionally stable too, and not just financially. And as a girl they are always like this to me that they want to get free from me and get me married as soon as possible. They blackmail me emotionally and in return didn't expect a word from me. Children who are grown up in a negative toxic environment additionally a toxic relationship of their parents can relate how lonely they have been throughout their life. Forget about relatives, neighbours, friends, if parents can't understand the feelings about the child either they choose wrg way or they choose to live life accd to them.
Parenting styles are very important.
The home is made of love, trust, acceptance and understanding if these basic elements are lacking then the home is not the best place to live in.

The way my parents treat me really....I'll try my best to understand my child.Its really hurting when your loved ones also compares u with others.Without understanding their feelings always making them feel uncomfortable is really hurting.Now I promise the way I always get hurt by everyone I would never give a single chance to anyone to do the same thing with my child.As a student I am saying this.Getting hate comment

The past 10 years my dad has been a workaholic. Still remember as a kid I used to play with my dad and we would enjoy wonderful times, back when much of the work was mainly carried out on office PCs, but just when I reached my teens, my dad started to become super workaholic. He would work late night at home as well and would always be on a bad mood. Now I'm in college and my dad has gotten a bit softer on me, but all these years with little time with my dad, I kinda feel scared to approach my dad, even though he's not in a bad mood anymore.
The story is not just about parents scolding u ... it also tells us that toxic parents are also those who actually keep us burdened by the favours that they do for us , show us that they love us but tak so much shot at us are never happy with us . I suffer from anxiety (severe) , ,y parents say that they want me to get okay but end up spoiling everything instead . Not bragging here , I got 95" Marka in boards this yr and all they said was that we expected better narks . They end up venting out their frustration on me and do not even let me get angry . I always have to think about how they would react even before asking for the smallest of things .😢😢
You're right. Parents are like that. They expect you to follow their rules without questioning them and still compare your flaws with other people's talents. Blaming you for every misfortune that happened to you or other person, making you their punching bag, favouring your sibling over you and never accepting the fact that they made a mistake. They project their trauma on you and still demand respect even though they disrespect you and your opinions. I'm still struggling with depression and it is only up to me to come out of the vicious negativity my parents created. Peace.

I literally cried watching this. I really wish my mom would understand this too but she will never understand. Rather she'll blame me for every thing. I can never ever make her proud. I've never done anything for her. I'm the reason of her worries. I don't even know how am I surviving after hearing these things every day!! After reading so many comments about toxic parents we had to make a film. We hope it reaches out and makes a difference.
Make a film on those children who wanna go into their fav streams in college but not always the child is brilliant but keeps on hardworking and puts up their efforts or either the parents forces the child to go into other streams just because they are lacking the right knowledge of generation and are purely lured on the packages that other streams offer for example if i wanna do btech cse my parents are after my life for a btech civil or mechanical even knowing I don't hold a command in physics !! Also the money issue to make us study in our fav streams !!

I face this type of toxicity from my Mom every now and then. Sometimes he hurts me so much and sometimes I feel her to be very kind. Her behaviour is v inconsistent

I m also a single mother from last Approx 20 years n have two kids living with me. I shared bad experience of my married life but never blame my kids for all this. N i m happy that my kids share everything with me n god gave me so much patience to listen them patiently. Today my son is doing job as ca n my daughter is completing her graduation this year. My kids use to say me that i played my both roles very nicely. As i think nowadays we have option to decide whether we need kids or not n if we have kids then its our responsibility to give them healthy atmosphere at home instead of always telling them that ur father left us. I always told my kids that i left him because i cant live in that toxic relationship any more

I'm grateful and lucky because I'm also middle class but my parents aren't like that, ofcourse something they behave rudely because of my mistake but they never leave me alone. Yes, they loved me and do everything i want and they never forced me to do something. But i really want to do something, what should i do special for them i also don't know...i just focus on studies and achieve great score...and that's makes them happy ❤.
