      Thanks Michael! Yes, I find a LOT of good stuff in arpeggio exercises. For me they work in a more musical context then scales for example. Keep up!

      Thank you! I´m glad to hear you like the info. What is your main style?

    • @mandomonica
      @mandomonica Před 6 lety +1

      My main style is probably "lack of focus"! I play with a number of people at a variety of jams that tend to be very eclectic. My favorite in the past few years is old time string band blues. I also really like bluegrassy fiddle tunes. Lately I have been getting into old time jazz and swing in the style of Django. I am better at comping these things than picking. It's a life long process right? I am periodically in Oslo, I should hook up for a lesson next time I am there. I do realize you may be some distance from there!

    • @MandolinSecrets
      @MandolinSecrets Před 6 lety

      Sounds cool! I´m also a bit like you, playing all kinds of styles. We just have to remember, it´s all music! Yes, just contact me if you´re up for a lesson. I do also teach through Skype or Facetime every now and then. Have a good day!

I´m going to make it a video course where I share the exercises I use to develop that kind of thing. Make sure you hook up with me on FB or my e-mail list and you will be noticed when it´s ready. I hope I can launch the course in June.
