@@TampaJay true. We’ve had the same thing happen when we had a whole group staying at the house and the host was giving us issues and charging us extra about every little thing. Nonetheless, Dragoncon looks awesome!
Jay you guys have to keep on them in their contact us that is the only way you can get thru to those people when they do that to you.. Airbnb will work with you once you get to that right boss in that app .. that's what we had to do down in NC last year .. I know this feeling .. great vlog tho overall..much love.. now to watching rest of the vlog

I’m sorry you guys had to deal with that during dragons con I understand that frustration especially when you had it all planned out. Glad You guys did find a place. I will always stick to hotels that way I never have a worry about it. Awesome video enjoy The Weekend!

so glad you got your money back, and to have made these arrangements in advance, only to be forgotten when the time was now, there is a high risk factor of being shuffled into a stack of reservations other than yours, you guys got lost in the shuffle, and really with everyone else also making those same arrangements i can see how this can happen. making them only days before would be highly impossible with high volume callers doing the same thing...so yeah really not much can be done to prevent this, but great to see you back and to give us a chance to see all the wonderful cosplay in full effect, the mask thing though is really stupid, they need to move on from that.
The EXACT same thing happened to me and my friends when we went to katsucon!! I will never use airbnb again! We had driven 9 hours and were 10 minutes away when our airbnb cancelled on us, and there was nothing available nearby bc it was the con weekend, we tried not to let it ruin the whole weekend but that is tough!!

Hey Tampa Jay, love this video but sorry you & Chris The Girl had Airbnb issues. Although I am still really confused with what happened with that. If you feel free to explain, I’d really appreciate it. My family gets together from different areas in AirBnB’s & we haven’t had something major like that happen. That’s why I am curious to know what exactly happened with your reservations.
In any case, glad your situation worked out and you could enjoy your time at Dragon con.

Air BnB is much too risky for big events that sell out hotels in an area. Owners will cancel and relist or work outside deals for much higher prices, because they can. DragonCon is one of the worst for that. Never do it for DragonCon.

U booked this on my birthday,,,the woman was incorrigable,,but 100% reimbursement better be met,,,NEVER DO AIRB&B again,,,,,I have heard some bad bad things lately,,,, glad you were able to over shadow the POOP w/ a nice day w/ CRIS,,,,
