@worklifecyber keep things very simple. Master interviewing by practicing in the mirror. Make sure you a confident. Too many sentences may cause you points.
You are good at what you do and great at communicating it. A lot of tutorials don’t help you get jobs because of too much theory they dish out. No real life day to days. The theory helps you understand the overall concept behind what we do but those interviewers want you to talk about the day to day not recitation of the RMF steps etc lol. So please protect this woman at all cost. Great resource
Thanks...you gave me a couple of more questions to be prepared for.....And yes, I had the same thing happen....I applied for 100% remote for family reasons as well. And write at the time of the offer they start asking me was I firm on "remote"...and I would need to come into the office 4-days a week...Really????....
Thank you so much sis! I have been working as a GRC more as a compliance Analyst.I’m here because I have two upcoming interviews for TPRM roles. This video really relieved me.
I am a new entrant into Cybersecurity career. I just finished my training with a private instructor. My questions are these: 1) Do I need certification before I can apply for a job? 2) If so, which one do you recommend I should prepare for?
Hi Jonathan. No you do not need certs to start applying. Certificate help but you shouldn't wait. I started with security plus and I was advised to do so. Then CISA, CC. If you are getting into audit, Third Party, risk assessment, compliance then yes you can start with mine. If not please research a little on your field. But you do not need it to start applying
I’m so glad CZcams recommended your video. I have been actively interviewing and this was so helpful. Pls post more videos like this. You just gained a new subscriber.
I have an interview coming with Amazon regarding third-party analyst. Can you list some guidelines to study. Thank you for your brief knowledge of sharing this information
oh it can go any direction. but here are a few. I will not be able to upload a video for the answers by Thursday. All the best! Research the company you are interviewing for an be prepared to answer why you chose that company. They will ask you to tell them a little about your self... make sure you speak a lot about your experiences, basically summarize your resume. use words like assess, stakeholders, mitigate, followup, grc tool etc. speak the lingo. relax you got this! What is your experience with identifying and assessing third-party risks? Can you provide an example of a successful risk assessment that you have conducted? What strategies do you use to evaluate the financial stability of third-party vendors? How do you ensure that they have the resources necessary to meet our needs? What is your process for monitoring third-party vendor compliance with our contractual obligations and industry regulations? Can you give an example of a situation where you identified a compliance issue with a vendor and how you addressed it? How do you balance the need to mitigate risk with the need to maintain strong relationships with our third-party vendors? How do you ensure that third-party vendors are aware of our security policies and understand their obligations to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of our data? How do you manage and respond to incidents involving third-party vendors, such as data breaches or other security incidents? How do you stay current with changes in regulations or industry standards related to third-party risk management? Can you give an example of a time when you had to adapt to a change in the regulatory environment? How do you communicate third-party risk management issues to senior management or other stakeholders within the organization? Can you give an example of a time when you had to communicate a complex issue to non-technical stakeholders?

Yea. That can be frustrating. I hope things worked out or that you've gotten a fully remote position. If not don't give up.
Thank you so much, I recently transitioned into Into IT/cybersecurity, and I am about to start putting in my application for GRC Analyst/TPRA roles.
Best of luck! Have no fear. The WORST they can say is NO. You have nothing to lose

Can you please do my video with Q&A please.
What if they ask what tool do you use at work
Tell them whatever tool you’ve used before. They don’t have to know it because there are so many. Nessus, service now, onspring, jira, etc
Hey maam do you have any videos on how to answer a 'tell me about yourself" question?
What about OSCAL ? any ideas please?
I’m new in cybersecurity, what area or field should I concentrate please. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
