- WCRC 37685 + 37676 with todays stock move from Carnforth to Fort William seen from Paddy Lane Bridge on the preceding path before 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley's move and in between the rain showers, thanks for watching.
Nice views of the class 37s Nige - excellent video! 👍🙂 Cheers - Allan.
Thanks Allan, it’s always great to catch a pair of 37s, cheers 👍
Great catch Nige, this move was a surprise as the Jacobite has been cancelled ??? maybe they got the exemption, or got CDL fitted, i caught somthing in the rain 🤔🌧
Thanks Steve, more like driver training/route refresher, rain had stopped for this one, cheers 👍
Nice catch in miserable conditions Nige. Interesting to find out what West Coast, have planned and what happens with The Jacobite over the next few weeks
Thanks Phil, yes not ideal but it was better than when Gresley passed, think this drama has a while to run yet, cheers 👍
Another cracking video nige well done great camera work as usual I am really enjoying your lovely videos and camera work keep your lovely camera work up I am really looking forward to seeing your next video I hope you get a nice video next time also when is your next video going to be on CZcams bye for now Philip
Thanks Philip, slightly better conditions for this one which was just before Gresley, cheers 👍
Growling along nicely there Nige in those dismal conditions, good shots
Thanks Austin, lovely sound and somewhat better conditions than when Gresley arrived, cheers 👍
Lovely sounds Nige 👍
Thanks Steve, wind didn’t helped at the start but at least the rain had stopped, cheers 👍
Good sound from the 37s Nige. I'm puzzled Nige - while this stock is in Fort William here is no chance of CDL being fitted. Take care - Chris
Thanks Chris, always great to catch a pair of 37s, think it’s going up there because LSL have a couple of day trips running to Mallaig, cheers nige👍
Nice video Nige :)
Thanks Simon, cheers 👍
Good sound from the tractors.👍
Thanks David, both were working which was a bonus, cheers 👍
An interesting move as none of the stock has CDL fitted. Oh but LSL are to run a couple of passenger specials from Fort William to Mallaig next week ;)
Thanks Les, a bit of PR if you ask me, cheers 👍
There was a time back in the 60s when I believed all diesel motive power to be unattractive and abhorrent, the takers of the belovéd steam traction. Nowadays it's the non-descript modernity of today's characterless passenger stock that hits my unattractive button and most classes of diesels really float my boat! Not to mention that lovely throat roar that used to make me so cross that now turns my head. Hey-ho, upwards & onwards.
Thanks Rare Rufus, yes I no what you mean and just as well as we still have these sixty plus old girls singing to us nicely, cheers 👍
WCR must have acquired or have converted stock to be CDL compliant or are being optimistic regarding a further exemption.
Hard to say Stephen, I would have thought we would have heard if something had changed and LSL have runs to Mallaig on Monday and Tuesday so looks like West Coast are going there to make the presence noted, cheers 👍
The Jacobite has been cancelled according to the railtour herald website
Yes thats correct at the moment Scott, it’s now a waiting game to see when it will start again, cheers 👍
@@nige7577yeah it’s all a waiting game nigel
They've come to sort of arrangement for use of that stock then?
Your guess is a good as mine Andrei, just going to make a point and get some more publicity I would think, cheers 👍
Makes a change to see 2 37s nice one nige 😊
Thanks Graham, it’s always great to see a pair of 37s, cheers 👍
Mr smith up to no good i reckon
You could be right Russ
