The Kalimba is a heavenly instrument. It’s also a bit underrated. I had no idea these existed until they popped up in my recommendation.

I have one @ my house but when i play it, it sounds like a Dragon and an Elephant are trying to play a lullaby on it at the same time. (I can't play it dreamily)

I remember when I said to my friends that I like this kalimba instrument, I want to buy kalimba, they just laugh at me because they said this instrument is easy to use choose other because we doesn't use such thing. Like what? Kalimba is so much better or maybe best than other instruments. I love it, the sound coming from it.

Last year i was grade 5 and a grade 6 student (she is now grade 7) have that instrument... and she used it to perform at our valentines day program together with her 2 friends.... mia (with the kalimba) angelyn ( with the guitar) and nicole ( with also the guitar) they three sing as they play
I remember listening to the original with my mom and sister together
And i just found this chanel and what i just heard filled my heart with happiness and memories

At first i thought the best instrument is piano. But when i heard the kalimba. I searched about what sound is kalimba. I heard this and other song. Its so underrated instrument! You can use it if you are making movies. Its so pretty to hear and relaxing.

I had one of these! It was a souvenir from a vacation we went on. I thought it was so cool, it was made like a wooden semi sphere and I really wish it didn’t break!

I agree when everyone say that kalimba is underrated. When I started playing it, looking for kalimba in a physical store was really hard that I got no choice but to buy online and wait for weeks.
For those who are planning to buy a kalimba and a beginner, I suggest you should buy the wooden kalimba because it is not heavy compared to the acrylic/glass that is really heavy.
