That part really got to me, because it exemplifies how it doesn't matter how mighty your kind is, we all can go extinct. The dinosaurs in the show destroyed nature, took it for granted, and didn't care about the environment. Earl's boss was so short-sighted that when the terrible freeze came, all he was caring about was how much money he's making selling winter coats. This episode has a heavy yet necessary message for its audience, cherish the home we all share and treat it with respect, or else we'll end up like the dinosaurs.
They are gonna be okay though, their bodies are gonna be well preserved in ice isolation for who knows how long but no maggots are gonna get to them anyhow. They’re fine, but I don’t about them being alive.

Is it just me but I think the strings were held out a bit longer in the end on the actual TV airing of the soundtrack. Those strings beg to be stretched out a little longer at the end

I remember watching this episode when it actually came on. At first, I was more confused if anything. I thought it was some kind of weird joke (because the 90’s were full of weird shows and cartoons that did strange stuff). Now that I’m an adult and know better, this ending hits differently and a lot harder now.
I assume baby Sinclair survived at the finale because in previous episodes he managed to survive being thrown across the room and into a wall and he survived falling off a tree.........
Ah yes, having all the characters end up freezing to death as the world comes to an end after tampering with the forces of nature is a very fantastic way to end _Dinosaurs._

It sucks the voice actor who did the mom died and now we likely won't get a series finale movie of Dinosaurs.
Unfortunately, this ending is canon regardless. It may be a sad ending, but it is an ending that, in retrospect, makes sense.
